Oh ,I'm just wondering what is written in your Cemar .. Because the two names the bride's and the groom's should appear. How could NSO office issued a Cemar when there's no husband's name on file? They would suspect and know they suppose to issue a Cenomar , government employees are known to be like that,.. Sad..

Hi guys! Finally I solved the problem regarding my CENOMAR. I called the NSO office in Manila and the man I spoke with gave me a number of the E-Census. I got the chance to talk the person incharge of the processed request. She read to me the details written in the CEMAR. First the name of the woman which exactly the same as mine (first name, middle initial and the last name). When I asked the full middle name, she cannot answer me because it's only initial that is written in the certificate. So I asked for the husband's name. After she read the name I said I didn't know that person. And so I asked if there's father and mother information, she refused to answer and so finally she said ' ok I will forward this to the processing department.'

As of now,I am waiting for it to be forwarded in US consulate here in Hong Kong. They asked me to pay 48.60 USD through Western Union for the special courier. :(

Thank you guys for your reply! *:)

Hi,

Just curious about your cenomar request. First of all, try to calm down. I know your agitated by the situation but believe me, everything happens for a reason. Let's try to see where the fault is? If you don't mind me asking, what details did you put on the fill-in the blanks. I know you need to put your full name, birth date, birth place, age, address, mother & father etc. Then after this you will proceed to some questions. Then after everything has been filled up you will be transferred to another page which is the online chat. This guys are going to re-verify everything you have entered. I believe there's a very very very low chance that if you even have the same full name, age, birth date and birth place, there's no chance that other will have the same parent unless your twins (lol, joking). By the way, is this the same website that you have requested. https://citizenservices.com.ph/ If not try to obtain here your birth certificate first for verifying your cenomar.

regards.

just a heads up to those considering using the citzenservices website....

there is a problem with this website's security certificate.

The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.

really!!! since when you become an IT expert? Do you even know what is a security certificate is? Please make sure when you give your opinion make it complete & accurate and not an installment. Otherwise, don't mislead other VJ members here. The site I gave is base on my actual experience, not a thought, not an opinion, not a hearsay, not even a horoscope. This is fact that I have encountered during my K-1 visa processing. No offense but you just posted here for the sake of posting.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931850

this is what you read in the symptoms:

A user who tries to connect to a secured Web site by using Windows Internet Explorer may receive the following warning message:

There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept data you send to the server.

We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this Web site.

but intentionally you did not mention the cause:

This problem can occur if the client computer's clock is set so that the date/time is later than the expiry date of the web server's SSL certificate.

and the resolution:

To resolve this issue, an organization that hosts the secure Web site can purchase a certificate for each Web server from a third-party provider. Or, the organization can install a Microsoft Enterprise certification authority in the Active Directory forest. Then, the organization can use this certification authority to generate a certificate for each Web server.

Note Users of client computers that do not belong to the organization's Active Directory forest can visit the certification authority Web site to download the certificate.

To work around

this issue, install the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 (Windows SBS) self-signed certificate on the client computer. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. In Windows Internet Explorer, click Continue to this website (not recommended).

A red Address Bar and a certificate warning appear.

  2. Click the Certificate Error button to open the information window.
  3. Click View Certificates, and then click Install Certificate.
  4. On the warning message that appears, click Yes to install the certificate.

Notes

  • In Windows Vista, the same issue occurs with self-signed certificates. However, the option to install certificates is not available unless you run Windows Internet Explorer with administrator rights. To do this, right-click the Internet Explorer icon, and then select Run as Administrator.
  • When the client computer connects to a Web server that is running Windows Server 2003, the client computer reuses the certification authority certificate. The client computer does not use another certificate that is signed by the certification authority.
