Guys please help! I made an online request of my CENOMAR in E-Census. Now, the result is CEMAR! I really can't believe that. I'm never been married! I'm really disappointed now. I don't know what to do. I'm on a rush because I need to get everything done before February. My working visa here in Hong Kong will end on February. What should I do? The embassy will not schedule an interview for me if they don't receive the CENOMAR.

Thanks for those who can give an advice.

Are the details in the CEMAR accurate? Like your full name, your date of birth and your parents' names?

Yes. I double checked everything and its accurate. I have a summary of the information I have given them. What I saw in Facebook is that there's a person who's name is same with mine and she's married! I don't know why the NSO cannot see the difference with our middle name.

It's not just the middle name that sets us apart from another person, also our DOB and parents' names that's why those info are also included in the CENOMAR/CEMAR.

You need to have that sorted out. Stupid NSO. protest6wz.gif

Is this your very first time requesting for a CENOMAR? If no, do you still have a copy of your previously issued CENOMAR?

Yes it is my first time. sad.png

Maybe you can ask your mom to request another one for you? She can go directly to NSO. Give her an authorization letter and a copy of your valid ID/passport.

that's what I wanted to do but when I read the instruction that embassy sent me,it says there that it should be requested through e-Census and should be sent to their office directly. And that is one of my problem right now. Im afraid that the NSO will forward the CEMAR to USEM. I emailed them to verify the result again and not to send the CEMAR,but I didn't get any reply yet. Im very frustrated! Everything could be ruined by this. I'm afraid the USEM will deny my application. :(

Sounds like you got an idiot who only looked at your name (quickly) and did not verify beyond that.

Do you have family in the Phils that can go to NSO to retrieve a CENOMAR for you?

Hi, Hank! Yes I do have. I can ask my mother to do a favor for me. The problem is, I have instructions from the USEM here in Hong Kong that CENOMAR should be obtained through online, the e-CENSUS. And must sent directly to them. I wanted to call the embassy if I can do what you have suggested but I'm afraid they will have doubts about my CENOMAR being faked or what.

Ah yes, you have to follow the embassy instructions for sure.

Only thing I can suggest after that is to trying calling NSO and of course resubmitting another request (would be nice if there was a place for a notation so you can tell them about their  )

I asked my friend from Davao to make a long distance to NSO Manila to ask why the result was CEMAR instead of CENOMAR and told her to give them my information again. But the man who entertained her said that I may lied in order to get a CENOMAR and didn't bother to ask my info again. They should have checked their files thoroughly because in the Philippines it is very common to have same names but when it comes to the information of the father , mother ,birth date and birth place, it is totally different. They should wonder why I requested for CENOMAR if I know I'm married, right? I am now convinced that the people who works in the government are usually lazy! They are not really into people they are serving. I'm sorry for those who are dedicated to what they do.

I'm very disappointed with this. I am wasting money, effort and time just because of their laziness.

I'm sorry guys. I just felt bad.:(
