Admittedly, they're not everyone's cup of tea. It seems you either love them or you really dislike them. Funny, that.

Fly By Night. That was in Geddy's rather screechy days.

Alex+R - which CD ya gonna burn? These things must be considered carefully.

I don't know. Do you have any advice?

2112, duh!!!

I'd have to say that my family doesn't support my plan to get married. They just shake their heads and say: you're going to do what YOU want to do anyway." My friends don't support the realtionship either. I have been married twice and have two children from the first marriage so "on paper" I look pretty flakey when it comes to marriage and done when it comes to having more children. My best friend thinks once Bogdan gets here it will be a disaster because of the cultural differences so she tells me "don't do it". And aquaintances (such as my brothers' friends) think I'm really stupid and that I can't possibly know "that dude".

But my children (17 and 11) seem supportive and happy for me. They are who matter anyway. But it does sting sometimes to hear all the negativity from everyone else.

Hehe.

G. and I met on the My Chemical Romance forum that I'm a moderator for.

Band forums are a good place to hook up, so I'm told.

She ... seems to believe that all people in the UK (Scots in particular) are all alcoholics

Yah....it's true though.

I have a strange feeling that you're from Newcastle, or close to it ;)

Pauls a monkey hanger - hartlepool is REALLY close to newcastle. Does marrying someone from the area excuse your excessive drinking? Oops, just spilt booze on the keys...

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

My parents were both deceased when i met Gary. My brother knew i had met someone from another country and i think he thought i was crazy, and just made a few comments. We dont get on anyway so what he thought didnt matter to me. Gary's sister was really excited for us, with us being from different countries. His dad is very easy going and accepted it straight away. His mom had reservations until she met me and then she gave us her blessing. They are happy and supportive of us. All my friends have been supportive as well, they said as long as i was happy they are happy for me and they all like Gary loads. :)
