Frankly, I think this case represents a massive misuse of our tax dollars. Close the damn Mexican border already and stop harassing people who have been living here, probably legally, for a very long time. Deporting the daughter, who has lived here from day 1, sounds sick to me. Outright insanity to send the girl away from the only life she has known. Not to mention dangerous.

You can not deport a US Citizen, so not relevant.

Government lawyer Michael Dobson of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Detroit declined to comment on the case citing federal regulations. A spokesman for the agency also declined to comment.

I would assume that in order for the Agency to decide deportation was justified and necessary, highly credible evidence must truly validate its reason(s).

Which is why they would decline to comment.
