Hey guys!

Need help, my case is in NVC for processing. I submitted the AOS package and IV package as soon as the barcode sheet was available to me. So I basically submitted both the packages to NVC on different dates. Today, I received a following checklist.

"The NVC has received information on the referenced case. However, we are still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application, the Affidavit of Support form (I-864) and/or the related fees. Please submit the forms and/or fees according to the instructions."

This looked like a false RFE to me, as suggested by other VJers. So I called the NVC and spoke with the operator. She told me first that it's a false RFE since they haven't reviewed my other packages. Then she went on saying that I submitted the wrong version of I-864. I asked her what version of I-864 she can see in the system. But she didn't have any clue. I told her that I didn't use the I-864EZ version and used the latest version of I-864 from the USCIS website (available on the following link).

She asked me to submit the AOS package all over again. I asked her to place an inquiry as I used the latest version of I-864 (OMB # 1615-0075/Expiry 03/31/2015), but she said she cannot do that and I have to submit the whole AOS package again. Does any body have that issue ? She doesn't make sense at all.

Thanks

Call them now and say I want to speak with a supervisor directly, and try to explain everything because one day staying without doing nothing is a big wait than. Tn NVC proces is so painful. Wish you luck!

Happy for you ! They have the right to putt even a note on your case if somthing is wrong. This was the only way we resolve everything and now we are waiting for the interview date.

The supervisor reviewed the AOS package and he corrected the checklist. I did use a correct I-864 form. So, AOS is all set.

I sent all the civil documents (including the marriage certificate) in a separate package and the operator told me that I didn't send the marriage certificate and I need to send that.

How can they lose the marriage certificate ;(

I have asked the Tier 1 to have supervisor review the package again. Hopefully, they will find it in the package. NVC is awful. I cannot stop worrying about my original marriage certificate;(

Why didn't ask the operator if he/her see on the system any mail for your case, because if you send the civil documents whithout pasing 30 bissnes day they will tell the same thing because one imail if is under review it takes 30 bisness days. Call another time and ask if they see on the system any mail for your case is under review if yes, then ask sicne when ask for the date, ok, then see the date when your mail with civil documentes arrived ate USA. Sorry for my English. Don't waste time call them todya if the lady don't see nothing on the system then send again the certificate beacause NVC is the difficult stage I think. We have the same problems with documents .... Call them and ask them any detail they will answer you if the low lett then do it, but you ask is your right to call for any thing. I hope you will resolve something ???
