Hi, We live in Virginia.. where do we submit the AOS application to?

I heard if you live in certain states and you want to submit the AOS, it goes to Chicago? Is this true? Can anyone confirm?

Family-Based Applications

If you are filing for lawful permanent resident status based on a family relationship with a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent

resident, file your I-485 at:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

P.O. Box 805887

Yep, we live in Virginia, too. We submitted our AOS apps to Chicago Lockbox and had no problems.
