Hello guys. So ive sent my i-130 2-3 months ago and recently my i-485. Today i received a letter from USCIS NBC, its my appointments for my biometrics, fingerprints....

My question is: What is going to happen during the appointment ? are they only take my fingerprints ? Whats next ? How long does is take to receive my working permit ?

I know my questions are random but I really want to know and be prepared

Thanks for reading this and if you can help me i will be more than grateful

Good Night

The biometrics is just for fingerprints and a photo. After that, you wait some more. The EAD takes about 2-3 months from filing to receive. You will eventually get an interview letter.

P.S. Not everyone that reads a post knows the answer, so just because there are views on a post does not mean you will receive an answer from each and every reader.

Look nice for the biometrics appointment. They use that picture they take for your EAD and GC.

I should have had a haircut and shaved before my appointment. Lol

LOL Thanks for your help... Thank you i will try to look nice for my appointment as well. Do you know how does it take to receive a EAD ? And when can I ask for a social security number ? Apply for a job ?

Thanks for your help anyways :)
