Wow! I am sorry you guys had such a hardship getting home(( Diana gets here next week, really excited! She flies in through Houston and then to Dallas.. Shouldnt be any problems I would think. JFK is way more crowded than International Airport of Houston. Congratulations Zhivago!!

Thanks, Foxxy!! Yeah, it was a trip, but my fiancée thought it was "cool", not even wanting to stay over in a hotel because she wanted to get home as soon as possible!! So, we have another "war story" to share. : ) You guys must be really excited too, and that's great that she is flying in through Houston. JFK of course was a zoo, but also very interesting to see people arriving from all over the world. I'm really glad I flew down to help her at the POE, especially because of the flight cancellations, and it can be confusing to go from the international terminal to the domestic terminals if you don't know the airport. Anyway, have a great re-union!!

Someone else interviewed the 18th already received their visa. The 18th is when the consulate claimed they had issued my fiance's visa but now they are backtracking and saying they approved it but couldn't print it out because of this computer crash. This glitch supposedly happened on the 19th, so it's likely they lied to me and my congressman about doing it on the 18th.

I am so freakin frustrated with these morons. Who ever thought we'd have to wait 2 MONTHS extra beyond the interview because NVC didn't forward a paper with 3 missing checkboxes (supposedly)??? I sent them the paper the same day of his interview which was June 10th! Thanks to their incompetence, my grandmother will never meet my future husband. I am beyond miffed.

Until now, more than a month passed and still nothing.

I just read the new processing time frame at Texas Service Center and it states that the last case they completed was DECEMBER 17!

HOW ABOUT THOSE EARLY FILERS????!!! I see a lot of December filers got approved! But rarely those who filed way early!

Probably nothing. It's probably just on someone's desk who's working incredibly slowly.

Sorry, I'm not sure who you've contacted already but, if your last update was 18th June, I'd be contacting your congressman again for another update, that was nearly 6 weeks ago.

When was the last time you contacted USCIS directly and talked to either a Tier 2 Officer or the Ombudsman?

Bunnygirl & sparkle pony- Today my fiance called the USCIS, and was told that we will be expecting an approval within 2weeks! Hurray!!! I am so happy, though I'm not sure if there will be an approval but I'm not giving up hope.

But if ever, it won't happened. My fiance already prepared an email to the congressman. We will ask their help after 2weeks.

I then contacted them and a dew days later I received my NOA2 I also posted on the Dec. Thread about it and one December filer did it and also received their approvals within days! I don't know if it's just a coincidence. So please e-mail these people so you may receive you NOA2. I sent them an e-mail but they didn't reply but others have gotten a reply and he took a look at their case. Also contact your congressman now and don't wait.

My only question, is it okay to email them even if I'm the beneficiary? or it should be the petitioner?

It's okay for the beneficiary to type it/write it at this stage, USCIS and congressmen/senators have contact with the petitioner only. Can you ask your fiancé to send it? Hoping to see your approval soon!

Aw. I am doing the email already. I will ask my fiance to use his email address and send it, but have to wait for him to wake up. ( different time zone)

My friend , the beneficiary, e/mailed them...Some do get a reply others don't but the majority gets NOA2 in days...Just try it! Hope you receive your approval!
