Yes. We asked them to placed us a service request and told us to wait for another 30 days for any response from them.

I'm really getting frustrated. The consulate is demanding that I submit via mail Part 3 of the I-129F because the check boxes for criminal record weren't checked. This is what I received an RFE on which of course I submitted back completed. Looks like more bureaucratic incompetence.

The most infuriating part is they are demanding this paper be mailed (which takes several weeks unless I FedEx it for about $100) because it "requires an original signature". There is NO SIGNATURE SPACE ON THE PAGE THEY ARE REQUESTING.

I don't even know what they are requesting because it makes no sense. Do they just want part 3, do they want part 3 and 4, or do they want the whole damn I-129F again? This is beyond frustrating. I am waiting for my fiance to call now.

I'd just suck it up and pay the $100 to get it there quickly. I'd also send the whole I129F, just to be on the safe side. I know it's frustrating but you're so close now! Take a deep breath, give them what they need and keep smiling

Unfortunately it's more easily said than done.. Somehow I ended up without a copy of the I-129F and my fiance does not have access to a scanner where he is now. I will have to recreate the entire thing. This is really stupid over one page they should already have, that has no signature line on it, which could be printed from my email.

These idiots keep referring to me as "Mrs." I'm getting my fiance to translate my email into Portuguese because they obviously don't have a great grasp of English

That is odd though, if you think about it because (technically) that won't be the I129F that was approved, even though it might contain the same information. Won't your approved one have stamps from USCIS all over it actually approving it? Weird.

That's true. They have NOT asked for the whole I-129F -- but they have asked for a signed copy of Part 3 of the I-129F, which does not exist. Part 3 only contains a few fields and there's not a signature until Part 4. They only asked for "I-129F Part 3". I am unclear as to what they are asking for if they say it requires a signature.

Was that the actual wording? A signed copy of part 3? If so I think that means they want you to initial or sign somewhere on that page to show that you've made the changes. Definitely clarify with them if possible before sending anything.

I'm trying to clarify with them but they obviously have some reading comprehension problems when it comes to English. I sent them an email in Portuguese asking where I was supposed to sign since there's no signature space on the page. I didn't have to randomly initial when I sent it back to USCIS -- it's just some check boxes!!! So goddamn frustrating

This is what they said "Since this document is signed it must be submitted through regular mail. We can`t accept it online."

The paper they gave my fiance specifically requested "I-129F Part 3". There is NO signature space or place to initial anywhere on the page and they have yet to instruct me to do that in two days of email correspondence!

I congratulated her yesterday, she got the longest wait I ever heard. I was reading all her post, I found out that it took them 8months for "security check completed" and another month to be approved.

Ours on the other hand, we're 6months and 1week waiting, our case is still "security check pending " I am thinking, that maybe I have to wait for another 2months to get approved. And that what makes me so sad.

I don't know. USCIS has weird kind of processing, and they're the only one who knows what's going on.

They sent me a message in Portuguese to disregard the part about the signature and that they have submitted the document for review.. Hopefully it will pass muster and my fiance's visa will be issued soon

I'm so happy to be getting closer to the end of the process
