We also got our approval on May 6th, a little under 6 months after submitting the application!

We had decided that I was going to go to the US to wait for NOA2 until interview so we were a little stressed when we got the approval 2 days before my trip...

I got stopped at border control and had to answer so many questions from the first officer and had to do the second interview and after a short wait I was sent on my way to visit my fiancé!

Just an update and FYI. We filed on Nov 12 and received NOA1 on Dec. 5th. I called USCIS to put in a service request today. I have heard of other filers attempting this and not having success. They let me file the request based on my file date NOT NOA1. They said the system will automatically reject it if not beyond normal processing times. I asked "are your normal processing times the same times posted on the USCIS website (five months)?" and she said yes. I know it is five months after my NOA1 and they did file my service request. They said they will respond by phone call and email within 15 days.....then she said it could take longer, but don't worry about calling back, the service request is in process. I will call back anyway if I haven't heard from them by the 22nd. Here's to the long wait. So glad to hear the approvals of fellow November filers CONGRATULATIONS!!! Hopefully we will all be finished soon.

I was afraid to be disappointed yet again by checking the USCIS website last night, but I should have because - WE GOT APPROVED!!! Mustered my courage to look this morning and saw the Post Decision Activity, not believing my eyes. I did not receive an e-mail or text, but the approval was evidently sent out yesterday, May 7, exactly 6 months after NOA1, so I was jumping all over the place, but not sure if I was dreaming. Wanted to surprise my fiancée, but I found her e-mail later, and she was so ecstatic! She had checked last night and found out first, because of the time difference. Anyway, thanks so much to everyone for their support - Foxxy, Sparkle Pony and everybody else - and of course to FinalEmpress for creating this topic and being so supportive too. To Chaeradaria and all others waiting, I know it's hard tobelieve, but there will be an end to the NOA2 stress for you, and I hope it is very soon. It will be a great feeling!

Finally early filers are now getting approvals!!!

I just hope they cleared out all November filers first before proceeding to next month filers.

I'm one of the hopeful.

That is great news! they are moving slowly but at least still moving. Pretty soon they will have most of the 2013 filers done. Hang in there if you are still waiting for NOA2, it will happen soon I

They said they're having a major backlog. I can tell too since other service centers were moving fast just by looking at the Igor list. Fingers crossed!!!

Someone else might be able to add more information but from what I have read and what they have told me.......With the Service request the USCIS office having jurisdiciton over TSC will call me directly with specific information about my case, and give an ETA. What I am HOPING to get out of it though is an approval before they have to contact me. That's not how it is supposed to work though, just hoping.

If I where you i'd put in a request or call. From what I have read this speeds up the process.

Thank you for suggesting but we've done almost everything. From countless calls to USCIS, asking help from senator, service request.

What exactly did you write to your senator? If that one doesn't help you, go to your other senator, then your congressman
