I was hoping you would have been approved by now.. I am very shocked that you still haven't received it yet. I bet you hear something by the end of next week.

Try not to stress.. I know it is easier said than done but I am sure your petition will be approved. If your congressional office is now intervening with your petition then something will happen very soon.

Hey, thanks! Yes, "easier said than done" (ha), but you're right... My congressional contact said we should hear this week, and beating that 6 months by even one night would be even better. (Come on, TSC, give us a break - we're a genuine couple and are zero security risks.) Can't wait to finally give my future wife some good news - she's been so patient and supportive, she deserves it!

Congrats to everyone with approvals! We received NOA2 on May 1st! and an email last night saying it was shipped to NVC.

Quick question about the NVC. After the TSC has sent our file to the NVC, do we have to call and get the service #? Or can we just wait for NVC to mail us something? I guess I am just not wanting to have to call them a million times if I do not have to and would just rather wait for them to get it and mail us.

We had to call in order to get a NVC number. We also didn't get any mails from them about sending out papers to the Embassy So we found out everything when we called.

We called NVC, but they told us to wait for 6 weeks to get the case number....exactly two weeks after the NOA2 he was visiting me and stayed for 10 days, when he returned home he got a letter from NVC with the case number and then he called again and we got an information when did they ship it to the embassy. (Our petition was already at the embassy by then.)

My fiance called earlier, the USCIS is working with November 20 filers now. I hope this means something to the rest still waiting. High hopes!

That is great news! they are moving slowly but at least still moving. Pretty soon they will have most of the 2013 filers done. Hang in there if you are still waiting for NOA2, it will happen soon I promise!

I was afraid to be disappointed yet again by checking the USCIS website last night, but I should have because - WE GOT APPROVED!!! Mustered my courage to look this morning and saw the Post Decision Activity, not believing my eyes. I did not receive an e-mail or text, but the approval was evidently sent out yesterday, May 7, exactly 6 months after NOA1, so I was jumping all over the place, but not sure if I was dreaming. Wanted to surprise my fiancée, but I found her e-mail later, and she was so ecstatic! She had checked last night and found out first, because of the time difference. Anyway, thanks so much to everyone for their support - Foxxy, Sparkle Pony and everybody else - and of course to FinalEmpress for creating this topic and being so supportive too. To Chaeradaria and all others waiting, I know it's hard tobelieve, but there will be an end to the NOA2 stress for you, and I hope it is very soon. It will be a great feeling!
