Just wanted to let y'all know, at 10pm I got the text that my case was updated, and had my fiancé check. Our petition has finally been approved! It was the best news I could've asked for today.

Now I hope that this ball keeps rolling for everyone else still waiting for the NOA2, hopefully we were all in the same batch together, but it'll come when least expected!

Well guys, I'm at a loss.. I expect we'll receive our interview date in the next week or so, but my fiance in the past couple days has been showing signs of schizophrenia. He has always been eccentric but things have really come to a head for some reason in the past few days. It is really scary and upsetting and I don't know what to do. I don't want to give up on him and our future together. I am working with some of his friends and hopefully his family to try to get him some help but I feel very helpless and sick to my soul..

Oh wow! It's tough because when there are other personal issues in your relationship, the visa process really makes it even more stressful. Has this happened before? Is he seeing someone (ie a doctor/therapist)?

Hi everyone,

I haven't been around for a while.....my fiance was visiting and last two weeks have been pretty hectic, after receiving NOA2 everything was moving so fast, I am surprised. :)

We finally had our medical done and sent out all documents they required in packet 3 back to the embassy, now waiting for the interview date.

Crossing fingers for everyone who is still waiting for their NOA2.

Oh wow! It's tough because when there are other personal issues in your relationship, the visa process really makes it even more stressful. Has this happened before? Is he seeing someone (ie a doctor/therapist)?

No, it hasn't happened before.. He saw a psychologist today. I'm waiting to hear from his father. In the meantime, he's humiliating me in front of mine.. He swears that 20 people have told him that I'm a man who "made a cirgury" to become a woman

One of many things that he's been saying/doing of concern lately.. I'm an emotional wreck

Congrats to everyone with approvals! We received NOA2 on May 1st! and an email last night saying it was shipped to NVC.

Congratulations! I know you've been waiting for awhile. Now it will go much faster. Keep checking ceac. They are great about updating.

Congratulations, pozdravlyayu, Foxxy, and to all others approved! I know it's been a long wait, so it's well deserved! Tomorrow will be our 6 months waiting for NOA2 which I could never have imagined. My congressional office decided it was finally time to intervene last week, so hopefully we will not be far behind.

11.04.13 - 129F packet sent
11.05.13 - 129F packet received
11.07.13 - NOA1 issued
05.07.14 - NOA2 issued

05.22.14 - Petition left TSC

06.03.14 - Petition entered into NVC system, visa case number created

06.10.14 - Case status updated on CEAC site - ready for interview (awaiting instructions)

06.16.14 - Case status updated on CEAC site - administrative processing

06.17.14 - Received e-mail from Moscow Embassy - ok to schedule interview!

06.19.14 - Interview scheduled for July 2nd!

07.02.14 - VISA APPROVED!!!

07.08.14 - Case updated on CEAC site - administrative processing

07.09.14 - Case updated - VISA ISSUED!!!

07.12.14 - Visa received!!!

07.23.14 - Point of Entry - arrived in US!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

07.23.14 - Alien Registration Number issued at POE

09.06.14 - ABW - Absolutely Beautiful Wedding!!! (L)

10.03.14 - Mailed I-485, I-765, I-131

10.06.14 - I-485 package delivered by USPS - arrived in Chicago lockbox

10.07.14 - I-485 package received by USCIS

10.23.14 - NOA1 issued for I-485, I-765 and I-131

10.24.14 - Received e-notification and receipt number

10.27.14 - NOA1s received by mail in 3 separate envelopes

11.12.14 - Biometrics completed - very simple, pleasant and fast!

I was hoping you would have been approved by now.. I am very shocked that you still haven't received it yet. I bet you hear something by the end of next week.

Try not to stress.. I know it is easier said than done but I am sure your petition will be approved. If your congressional office is now intervening with your petition then something will happen very soon.
