Great on the new approvals! Hoping for more this week, including ours! As to the ARN question, from the experience of fiancées on another forum who discussed this, one can evidently receive an ARN soon after NOA1 or at the other end of the process. Don't know why this is the case, but it doesn't seem to have any bearing on the petition.

We have our interview day scheduled for April 30. The final hurdle. I will be flying back to China for our wedding ceremony (not legally binding) and her farewell party in June.

It seems a bunch of approvals after April 3rd have been stalled at TSC and have not been sent off to the NVC.

Called them today and did some case number checks for random petitions on USCIS's site. All of a sudden after the 3rd no more NVC forwarding notifications for approved petitions - my guess is they must either ship off when they have a full load or anything approved after the last batch sent to NVC is shipped off when they hit a deadline date regardless of load- whatever comes first I guess.

Nope, and none of the other ones I found from around my case number or approval dates did either. I did found a few that said forwarded to NVC on the 11th (possibly yours per your signature?) It's also possible they all did get forwarded and some didn't get status updates. None of these had RFEs either like yours did as well - so that's something that's different about your petition compared to these.

But it's just odd - the others in my grouping (10 or so petitions that got approved slowly over a two week period) just stopped getting a forwarded message after the 4th. Same with the other groups I found minus a few oddball petitions. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?! :bonk:

When you check the website site what status is your case in? Mine says post decision activity.

Hey guys, can you take a second to check out this thread by Sweetswinks? It's about the Igor's List issue where CSC filers end up on the TSC approval list. If that issue is cleared up, our estimates would be so much more accurate, this needs to get fixed!! If we all whine about it maybe they'll do something about it!!

Can we fix Igor's List please?

I don't know about you all but I'm tired of getting my hopes up over quick approvals.

Congrats to all the recent approvals - really exciting to see some movement for November TSC-ers!!!

Quick update on where we are at:

Since NOA2 (March 21, after 6 months, 1 week), the pace has seriously picked up. Our case flew through NVC in 4 days and made it to the USEM in Qatar in 2! Seeing that it had been received, I emailed the Consular Section and they emailed back with Packet 3. Took us a few days to gather the last few documents, but R. dropped it off yesterday.

He received a call within a few hours (?!) informing him that he had been scheduled for his interview next Tuesday, 22/4!!!

With the long Easter weekend (in the Middle East anyway), I'll be able to fly out tomorrow and be there for the interview next week.

Exciting, nerve-wracking, and so so hopeful that we might soon be together (and done with this process)!

Any good vibes/prayers/mojo/happy thoughts that you can send our way on Tuesday would be much appreciated

I hope they are finally taking care of this backlog. It's so scary and frustrating to see you guys STILL waiting at mud April from Nov filing and so many of the CSC people flying through. I'm happy for them indeed but it should be a much fairer approach of first come, first serve. It would save slit of agonizing. Then if your case is complicated its put in a queue and at least you know it's in progress.

I'm sure everything will be fine but good luck. I know this process is hard. Our interview is April 30. Just make sure you have every document they asked for. For us the medical is Monday and Tues and the interview is Wednesday. It's a two hour flight from her home. Will you fly to the u.s asap? We are waiting until June or July because she needs to turn in a notice at her job and tie up any loose ends. Leaving your country is a big decision.
