Just wanted to let everybody know, that TODAY I had my medical in Frankfurt/ Germany!

The Lady that was checking me was so nice! Everything is fine and the documents are getting send to the embassy in Germany now (also in Frankfurt) smile.png I am truely so happy!! X-ray, vaccinations, everything is good :-)

And we were getting last Friday our NOA2 hardcopy in mail and the USCIS was changing our status online, also on Friday, that it is getting shipped to NVC now!! smile.pngsmile.png

When can we start calling them and ask for the case number???

Good luck to all those who are still waiting! I cross my fingers for y'all!

That's great news, and I agree, you sound so much happier! With all you've gone through, it's great to see you in much better spirits. :)

I would wait around a week and a half, two weeks to call them and ask about your case number. :)

It's been my idea, from reading threads on here, that what happens at one Embassy will not necessarily help when interviewing at a different Embassy. That's why country-specific reviews are so helpful. :)

I am a little confused. On the USCIS website, they approved us for N0A2. Then on Feb 14 on USCIS website they said they mailed it to NVC but on Feb 18 I got a hardcopy letter saying it was mailed to the consulate.

It's a standard letter - they all say the same. Don't worry, you're good. :) You can start calling NVC to inquire about your case number.

They give you scripted answers, which is you're confused. Now that you have your case number from NVC, you need to go to the CEAC website and you can start tracking your case online. Select the Immigrant Visa option.

The letter she referred to was Packet 3 and some embassies, like Manila, don't even send it. This is where knowing how your specific Embassy operates comes in handy.

Hi there,

I'm November filer too and no Noa2 yet. sad.png

My fiance called three times already and still no update. Getting sad and upset. Its been three months already.

I am hoping and praying and crossing fingers everyday that the pending filers get approved very very soon. It will happen for you - you just need to hang in there a little longer.

Calling won't help, anyway. Until you've reached the 5 month mark, calling won't get you anywhere. :(

From the moment I started checking my status on the CEAC website, I have seen: 1) "At NVC", then 2) "In Transit", and then 3) "Ready". Also, when it changed to Ready, it also had the numbers for my K1 and the two K2's, so I know it was at the Embassy by then.

How have your statuses changed?

We tried to get my CEAC Case number through NVC but were unsuccessful many times so we just stopped and then on 4th Feb i recieved a physical mail with CEAC tracking number and it said they have recieved our approved petition and will NOW mail it to Abu Dhabi Embassy but the status already says its ready for interview on CEAC tracked

So i missed all those NVC/Transit period so thats why i am confused if ready means they have already received it and are waiting for our contact or?

Heres the status pic;

Just like to know what our next step should be.

That means it's at the Embassy and you now have to wait for Packet 3 (or whatever it is they do in substitution of it). smile.png

The time it took for the NVC Notice Hardcopy to reach you was the time it took yoru case to reach the Embassy.

We're waiting for our co-sponsor to file his taxes so we can use the most current 1040 - power/internet cuts because of the weather haven't helped. My fiance already has everything on his end so as soon as the co-sponsor's paperwork is done, he'll send everything to me. I'm also waiting on some court papers to use for the K2s for my children. I haven't received Packet 3 from the Embassy yet, so I'm ok for waiting for all these papers. :)
