Congrats Trisha that is amazing news, you definitely had hour portion of waiting! Hope rest so smooth and fast for you!

Here still waiting as well :( it gets more frustrating seeing people from jan getting approved... Was really hoping to be there by the start of summer, but looking at mid summer by now. Cannot believe this needs to take so long. The "estimated" NOA2 date was 1 month ago. This sucks. Normally no fan of complaining or complainers, like to stay positive. But week after week go by and nothing. S this is my portion of complaining! GRRR

Ok positive mood on again! Lets hope for some good news next week them...

18th Nov 2013 - Mailed K-1 visa application

22th Nov 2013 - Received NOA1 (with official receipt date of 20th Nov 2013 on the petition) from TSC

3rd March 2014 - Received NOA2 through email notification (101 days after NOA1)

10th March 2014 - Received hardcopy NOA2

12th March 2014 - Case shipped from TSC to NVC, notification through email

21st March 2014 - Received Case number from NVC after calling them

24th March 2014 - Case shipped to Amsterdam Consulate "in transit"

26th March 2014 - Case status changed to arrived "Ready"

26th March 2014 - Received packet 3 through mail, after contacting them through email

27th March 2014 - Returned Packet 3

3rd of April2014 - Received Packet 4 via post with interview data ( they dont give this information through email)

11th of April 2014 - Medical appointment

24th of April 2014 - Interview date - APPROVED!

2nd of May 2014 - Received Passport back in the mail

19th of May 2014 - MOVED! POE Atlanta - Never been faster through customs, no lines and it took the officer about 10 minutes to process my papers. Very friendly.

June 10th 2014 - Applied for SSN - They could not find me in the system yet, but the lady was very friendly and said she would process it later and call me in case she needed any more information or would foresee any delay past 2 weeks she would call me.

June 16th 2014 - Received my SSN

June 16th 2014 - Got our marriage licence - Although they said I did not need a SSN in case I had not received it yet. We called ahead.

June 27th 2014- Got Married!

Adjustment of Status

July 23rd 2014 - Applied for Adjustment of Status (Inc EAD / AP)

August 8th 2014 - NOA1

August 11th 2014 - Requested Expedite processing on AP

August 18th 2014 - Received appointment letter Biometrics Appointment

August 19th 2014 - Expedite request completed - AP approved and produced

August 28th 2014 - Biometics appointment

October 2014 - AoS Approved

January 29th 2015 - Green Card Received

Lifting Conditions

November 4th - Applied for Removal of Conditions

November 16th - NOA1

December 6th - Biometrics Appointment

WE ARE APPROVED!!!!!! NO RFE WE GOT APPROVED ON FEBRUARY 14th, 2014!!!!

AAAAAAHHHHH OMG!!! i screamed so loud and my parents woke up hahahahahah biggrin.png

FINALLY! I am SO SO SO happy for you, such incredible news! What a great Valentine's Day gift!

There were so many approvals this week I hope they don't think "now that we did a bunch we can slow down"!

We are now at 3 months since the petition was received, my guess is only 2 more months to wait...

K1 in 2013, AOS in 2014, ROC in 2017

ROC Timelime:

2017-05-12: ROC packet sent to Vermont Service Center

2017-05-16: Case status updated to Received

2017-05-26:  Received NOA letter and status extended for 1 year

2017-06-16: Received Biometrics appointment letter and case number

2017-06-26: Biometrics appointment at ASC in Atlanta

I'm wonder how long usually take for NVC to send the case to the embassy ?

Our case was sent fairly fast. I received a notification that our case was shipped to NVC on the 3rd, and on the 14th it was shipped to the Embassy.

From what I've seen, TSC sends the petitions out to NVC quicker than CSC does.

They send ours to NVC yesterday , feb 14 .

SparklePony congrats !!you are an step closer !

Did they send notification when they recieve and assign the case number or we have to call ??

I'm so confused by the process , our case have to be send to the embassy on Havana and I check the website and so many things look diferent !

Once you're done with USCIS, things tend to move along quickly (aside the occasional hold up at NVC), so, yeah, it's moving along now. smile.png

You don't get any notification of when they receive your case at NVC - you have to call them and ask if they have assigned your petition a case number. So, wait a week or so, and then call.

For me, going through the Paris Embassy, the only thing that having a case number does is that it allows us to track our case online. That's how I found out NVC had shipped it to Paris. For other Embassies, having a case number is actually important so that you can book the medical and the interview (like for Manila). So, you need to know how your Embassy works.

Roel your time line it is almost the same , we get our NO2 on feb 12 and send to NVC feb 14

I got my NOA2 February 5 and our case was sent to NVC on the 13th, hopefully by next week we already get our case number and before this month ends, it will already be sent to the consulate. I can't wait!
