KtichUsZim....thats wierd. NVC review usally last a couple of days. They advise 8 weeks but within 3 - 5 days of receiving the case they usally send it down to teh Embassy or Consulate

Can1221 EXACTLY!! and I am so afraid these people are screwing up! Its been there since January 17th, I mean what are you checking? We are not terrorist, we are in love and hurting because of being apart, I have so offten considered leaving the US and moving to Africa because I hate being scrutinized. I damn near gave them my whole life in the 129F application. Run my ss# my whole life is there. He's just a regular guy, what's the hold up?

You know he's a regular guy, and you know you're not terrorists. But USCIS doesn't know you from Adam, and to them, you could well be. I agree it makes little sense for the petition to sit at NVC for so long, but it is what it is. Frustrating for everyone. :(

Nothing new for us either, but VJ has been updating my timeline so people do seem to be getting approved...

My timeline has no been updated and still states Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 10, 2014 andJanuary 20, 2014*

I even received an automated email from VJ telling me to update my timeline because according to their system I should have been approved. It's so frustrating! It was going so fast two months ago and now nothing.

K1 in 2013, AOS in 2014, ROC in 2017

ROC Timelime:

2017-05-12: ROC packet sent to Vermont Service Center

2017-05-16: Case status updated to Received

2017-05-26:  Received NOA letter and status extended for 1 year

2017-06-16: Received Biometrics appointment letter and case number

2017-06-26: Biometrics appointment at ASC in Atlanta

Not knowing me from Adam? To many illegals here to use that excuse!!!

we are talking about the United states government here, they could and do spy on anyone they deem a terrorist. And can find you in a fox hole it doesn't take forever to do background checks, and if that's the case then everyone would go through it. not random bull like this.. inept! Yes, that I can believe, like losing files and saying n Anything!!!!
