November 2013 TSC Filers

I understand your frustration.....I just don't understand how USCIS works. How is it possible that cases from September all the way to the first week of December 2013 are getting approved and there are some cases like yours still pending. You would assume that the cases are handled by a first come first served basis like they state on their website

I know :-(. I wish there would be an order... So many cases are already approved before and after us and we are still on initial review. I pray that they come to august 12,2013 soon and it doesn't take so long anymore for us....

The tier 2 officer told us, that we are NOT over normal processing time yet (LOL) as long as THEY haven't reached the date of august 12th, 2013 yet. And actually they work on JULY16th omfg

Hi Trish, I read your post yesterday from august filers topic when i was trying to figure out how many people are there left from October and September, and it was totally unexpected that there are people still waiting that filed in August.....all my hopes that kids will start their new school year there went downhill reading that....

Of course no one knows how they are working on petitions and why they are approving it like they do, i only hope that things will get faster. Keep us updated and wish you all best.

Becoming very frustrated.. No word since ARN changed on 12/12, and VJ timeline keeps pushing back the date.. Looks like none of the other I-129fs around my same SRC# have been touched either since around 12/10 - 12/12 when the ARNs changed on all of them

My case should be very straightforward -- two young people with no previous marriages, no kids, no criminal record

Well I think it's just a matter that they haven't looked at them at all yet.. What probably happened is they received the petitions before Thanksgiving and put them in a pile that they didn't look at until before they left for Christmas/New Year's.. Slapped ARNs on them and they are back in a pile now with new ones on top of them!

Well in the case of November filers, not yours, Trish, since you filed in August!

Yesterday they told my fiance that they work on july 16th petitions from last year :-( we should keep calling she said and get to know always the actually date they work on....

How they work on July 16th petition if others from November and December are getting approved, so who is working on them?? I am totally confused how this whole thing works with USCIS.

I KNOW! And this is the big question that I'm asking myself the whole time.... I totally agree with you! It is weird and my last hope.... Because we haven't heard anything since october 9th where the Alien Number changed....... We call so long until they tell us they work on august 13th! Because if they passed august 12th and we didn't get anything by then next steps need to be processed.... iDK which ones that will be yet ;-(

Another thing what is totally weird to me, I thought you should count 5 months since you receive NOA1???

The receipt date is your NOA1. I onky know that since they told us we should wait until january 12th then we have reached the 5 month mark. ( august 12th is the receipt date on the NOA1 hard copy)

I confess I get discouraged too, as seems there are no new NOA2's lately. Wondering if my children will have to start school here in the fall, too. Wondering if these files just get lost somewhere...

I hardly even have the heart to go look in the regular November filers thread, as some are already talking about interviews and whatnot. It's discouraging it will ever be our turn.

I'm sorry for making you scared. It's just my case and from two other couples that I know from here that are still waiting like we do from august. But I'm sure all of you will be approved soon! Look only on igor's list for TSC..... But I hope our case wasn't getting lost pls don't say it like that? :-S i already thought about it so often...

That's what i thought, got confused with all that they told you over the phone...to wait for when they get to august, so all that 5 months thing doesn't mean much... I really wonder if someone else called to ask about petition and what date they told they are working on.

Well, I even bet with my fiance that we will be approved in January....he said it will be approved in February. LOL Let's see who gets a massage...

Sparkle, just keep your head up... I know this is annoying and discouraging...and i could write a lot of different words about it, but who knows, maybe when you wake up your NOA2 notification will be in your email.

I know another couple from the august fillers.... They were getting exactly the same thing told! They talked to uscis before we did! They called maybe 5 or 6 days before we did yesterday and were getting to know they work on july 13, 2013,.... So it is not just something they told only me!

I would think the July date meant that no cases before that are still open. That's how I interpret it. But I would confirm that. I would ask why some December cases are already approved when yours is still pending. Not so much why yours isn't approved yet, but why filers with later dates are already done, with no expedites or anything, when you're still waiting.
