  1. 1. This article is a great illustrator of why Sharia law needs to be declared illegal in the United States!

    • What the heck does this article have to do with Sharia law in the United States?

    • Yes! Ban Sharia law. It is the only way we'll save the lives of Americans who feel the need to go jogging in terror infested parts of the world like Benghazi.
    • We need to ban Sharia law in the United States but who the heck goes jogging in Benghazi? Someone give this guy a Darwin award.

TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) — Unknown assailants shot an American teacher to death as he was jogging on Thursday in Benghazi, a hospital official said, underlining persistently tenuous security in the eastern Libyan city where the U.S. ambassador was killed last year.

...

No one has claimed responsibility for the teacher's killing but suspicion is likely to fall on Islamic militants active in the city.

What will banning sharia law in the US do to prevent moronic Americans (jogging in Benghazi??) from being kidnapped or killed in chaotic foreign countries? I have a friend working for an NGO in Tripoli. He stays in a compound all day and night. He bought a cheap Chinese treadmill for $400. This teacher should have had his head examined.

As POTUS, his job it to personally secure the lives of every American citizen. No matter what choices they make or where. Sleeping is for the rest of the country. He should have been there with her. Jogging 10 feet in front of her.

So, it's okay to blame the victim if the crime is murder but wrong to blame the victim if the crime is rape. Got it.

It should always be wrong to blame the victim and always right to blame Obama.

No one is blaming the victim. Just pointing out for any future visitors that jogging in a place where people don't jog and where there are murderous militias with anti-american sentiments probably isn't a good idea.

There is a difference between saying someone was "asking for it" and saying that someone could have acted smarter.

Still a shame.

In theory, yes there is a difference. But the typical response to someone suggesting that I rape victim could have acted smarter is to accuse that someone of victim blaming.

Whoa ! Really? Benghazi ?

Ok, seems there's a new community there in Benghazi, that needs someone with organizational skills.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
