Rio de Janeiro - How long does it take to get an interview?

I got my letter from NVC on the 13th of November but we still haven't heard any news from Rio about when the interview will be. I was hoping to find out how long the wait normally is for Rio? Are there other Brazil petitioners who have already been through the process that could give me an rough idea of what to expect? How long do I have to wait before I get an interview? It has almost been a month since I got the letter from NVC. Is this normal for Brazil? I've heard that waiting up to a month is normal, I just want to know if their is anyone who has already gone through the Rio de Janeiro consulado that could help me. I tried e-mailing Rio but all they ever respond is that they have the information in the system but an interview hasn't been assigned yet. They've given me the same exact e-mail twice now so I feel like that's a dead end.

Thanks in advance
