I tried my luck this morning at Baltimore to get a walk-in AP again (I had gotten one right after I filed for AOS). They said they don't issue those any more locally.

However, the lady said that I should send it to Chicago Lockbox if it is an emergency, so I am a little confused now...two questions:

1) Where exactly should I file for it? Vermont or Chicago?

2) Does e-filing make the process any faster? If not, how is it better than overnighting it to Vermont or Chicago or wherever?

Thanks for everyone's help :)
