Checklist Cover Letter

Hi everybody,

Im beneficiary and just got email from NVC titled "Checlist Cover Letter"

I opened attached file and saw barcoded Cover sheet with case number and NVC mailing address

As i understood my husband and his lawyer didnt send cover sheet with IV and AOS packages

Please advice now what should we do, ? Can we send just cover sheet alone?

Guys i appreciate ny help or suggestion

No this is the checklist cover letter that must be sent back along with the item in the checklist unless it's a false checklist. What did the checklist say?

Oh yes now i got you, it was attached file with 3 pages

On first page they are asking to review the information listed under each applicant's name and provide any documents which are indicated as missing or need additional information.

On second page i see NVC address with Bar code and the case number

On third page i see this:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR: beneficiary's name

_F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:_

We received your Immigrant Visa Application; however, we have not received an Affidavit of Support form. You must submit an Affidavit of Support form before we can complete your case.

Please go to our websiteimmigrantvisas.state.gov for instructions on how to obtain, complete, and submit an Affidavit of Support form.

But we sent AOS package with IV package together one month ago.?

Please advise what should i do now and thank you a lot for your fast reply

VJ members does anybody here get false checklist from NVC?

How long it will take to get case complete after getting a false checklist?

It is a false checklist do not worry about it. It means they've reviewed your IV package! YAY! Unless a checklist asks for something VERY specific it's a false checklist.
