We did the k1, married within a month of entry, filed the AOS/EAD and electronic notice thing... It's been a month almost without a single letter or text or email. Is there someone we can call or an email? Our k1 took double the normal amount of time with a bunch of hitches, I had hoped things would go smoother now. I'm worried its lost in the mail and my 90 days are almost up, putting me into illegal status.

Did you get confirmation of your AOS package delivery to Chicago lockbox?

Has your check been cashed?

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

you wont be illegal either as long as you got married within the 90 days on your visa it takes 3-4 months for it all to go through so dont worry

things take time i am in the same boat as you was married 4 weeks weeks after arrival just getting ready to file for aos now when my wife gets over her fever and flu

im 99 percent sure the only requirements for the visa is to get married within 90 days so dont panic you wont be illegal

just wont be able to get you work permit ect
