Arrival in the USA

Can someone tell me what my fiance should expect after he arrives? What will he have to fill out? What forms should he bring if any? When does he apply for work authorization, SSN, and adjustment of status? Thanks for any information!!!

He'll just need his passport with visa in it and the sealed envelope he was given by the embassy. He needs to present both at the desk when he gets off the plane and they'll take him through the rest. Nothing difficult or scary. Then follow the steps in the link above.

Start looking at the guides for Adjustment of Status (AoS). There are some documents, like original birth certificates, that he will need to bring from his home country. Start researching now on here for what will be needed.

do you know if the original birth certificate needs to be translated into english and how many do I need to bring to the U.S. for these next steps?

Always good to have a translated birth certificate when is not in English and always bring the original

When your fiancee arrive usa, he will drop the package at the entry airport here in the united state, you guys need to get married within 90 days of his arrival, after you are married and have the married certificate, you need to fill in, form I485and form i-765, after abt 4 wks the will send the appointment notice for biometric fingerprints, and after the finger print with 4 wks you fincee will get his Employement authorisation permit. After receiving the employment authorisation card he is now eligible for go to the nearest social security office with his/her EAD and marriage certificate to apply for his social security number, which comes within two weeks.
