We haven't been receiving any emails giving us updates on our case, even though the website is being updated with information. Now it's saying our card was mailed out, but I don't have a tracking number because I assume this should be in an email. Is this true? Should I call USCIS and make sure they have the correct email address?

Have you just had an update saying it was mailed out? When my card was sent, I got an update saying it had been mailed. And then later the same day I got another update to say that the card was actually with USPS, and it was that second update that contained the tracking number. If a tracking number has been assigned, it will show on the case status webpage too. Not sure about emails because I only registered for the texts.

As for not receiving emails, do you actually have an account on the USCIS site? If not, that may be why you're not getting emails about further updates. The G-1145 form only gives an update to say that they received/accepted an application, nothing further.

Yes, it was just to say it was mailed out, so that's good to know that there will be another one to look out for. And thanks for that info! I thought when I set up the account on the USCIS website for our K1 that it would be the same (since it's the same email address and same people), but it makes sense that it would be a new account for a new case. :)

You can do it on the same account, if you just click 'Add a Case to Your Portfolio' you should be able to add them there. And then just make sure you haven't forgotten to select the email updates, and it should work.
