If you have a job offer why don't you expedite your ead? I wouldn't chance not having it by the time I gotta start. If you can provide a letter from your future employer stating that he wants to hire you, you can have your ead much much quicker.

I did yesterday. Today I got an email to send proof of 'financial loss' and 'proof of my job offer'. Well, I can proof my job offer and training that's coming up, however, I'm not sure about financial loss since my wife has a well payed job. I just want this job so badly because I'm tired of sitting around and it is just the perfect job to me. The problem is, that they only do 1 training which starts february 25th....

You should receive it soon... Remember that not all the people that go through this process know about this website and comment here... If nobody of the people that knows about visajourney got approved it doesn't mean anything.. That's my opinion. Be patience and I think you might hear about it very soon... It's only been 60 days since your noa1, you're still in the 90 days timeframe smile.png

Thanks. I really do believe I should receive it very soon. On a scale, I think the timelines here on VJ indicates the average waiting time really well. I was just confused that this week doesn't seem to move. It's just frustrating, because I really want to start working and I can't yet. I believe everyone pays more than enough for all these permits and visas to get processed. Too much actually if you look at how long the wait is to receive everything!

As 'proof of financial loss' I would just write a statement that you would miss out on the salary of the attached job offer. Financial loss is financial loss. No matter what your wife makes. I would at least try it. They can only say yes or no ;)

You're right. I'll give it another weekend and I'll send the documents next monday. Thanks!

Why not just fax the documents right now? You can send faxes online at places like hellofax.com for free (up to a certain limit) and if you don't have a scanner just use one of the scanning apps for your phone, that should do a good enough job.

Thanks for the tips. I just sent in everything they asked for via hellofax.com.

Thanks again for the great help! Now hoping on a positive response!

Good luck! I responded to a similar request last Thursday but haven't heard anything yet so am currently on hod with USCIS waiting to speak to a level 2 IO to see if they can help or at least give me an update. In my case my E3 visa expires today so I am going to have to take an unpaid leave of absence until I get my EAD, I was late in filing as I left it to late to gather all the supporting documentation for the AOS so it is my own fault but I'm still hopeful I can minimize the interruption.

Best of luck with your case! These visa processes and permits are sometimes really stressful.

Ugh, don't bother staying on hold to get to a Level 2 IO to get an update on an expedite request, they can't see anything beyond that the NBC hasn't made a decision yet and they can't do anything about it either. What a waste of an hour.

Did anybody in here get a interview waiver letter or interview appointment yet? It might be a little too early for an appointment letter but my AOS has been 'untouched' since December 3, 2013 and still says 'Acceptance'.

And we filed end of November really.

Just curious if others already heard anything or at least saw a change in the status.

I was in a similar position as yours...I tried that option too to get them to expedite my EAD but it was all in vain...but I have read cases, not sure where, that there are better chances if getting it if the case is not processed by NBC. But fortunately my H1B extension went through even though I wont be needing it soon.

We filed shortly before Christmas and our's still says "Acceptance" as well. My husband had his biometrics in January, but it's been radio silence since then. Frustrating, but at least he's here and we're not doing long distance anymore! :)

my case went back to "initial review" from "testing and interview" because of the correction on date of birth. We are supposed to have the interview this wednesday. We called the uscis but looks like they are closed for the holiday today so we are not sure if due to this change we are still on for the interview :(
