im still waiting for EAD i just got a job offer... i need it asap! my Biometrics done in jan 10!!cray5ol.gif

Call USCIS and ask for it to be expedited due to "severe financial loss" on the basis that you will lose this job opportunity if the EAD isn't approved, that has worked for a lot of others on here but there are some cases where they have rejected that reason but it doesn't hurt to ask.

To those who got EAD/AP card - do you get any confirmations? Such as emails or text ?

Thank You!

In my case no emails or text... I check in the USCIS helper app, and all the updates I get them online in that app or checking the status in https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do which is the same thing...

USCIS received my husband's AOS and EAD/AP application on Dec. 17th. We got the NOA notices in the mail and had biometrics done on January 14th. We haven't heard anything since. No RFE and no changes on the USCIS case updates online. I see some people who filed in December already got their EAD/AP and have interviews scheduled. It is making me kind of nervous that we still haven't heard anything. Are we still normal or do we need to be calling USCIS?

Update: we received this notice yesterday: Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview.

We originally sent everything in on December 9th and they received an RFE on January 17th. Still no word on the EAD or AP.

I'm pretty much in same situation as you (see timeline) - doesn't look like we're outside of any reasonable expectations. patience?

Nothing happening here either how long should I wait before calling to ask what is going on?

We have done the biometrics over a month ago but nothing changes online.

At least with this forum I do not feel alone!
