How long does the beneficiary have to respond to NOA2?

Hi,

We are in the process of compiling our I-129F application. We will be putting the application in late January 2014.

My fiance currently lives in Australia, and will be visiting me in the USA from early March until late May.

It currently states that the processing time for the K-1 Visa is anything up to 5 months, although I am aware that the process could be quicker.

If by some miracle we get NOA2 approval while my fiance is visiting me in the US, she would be delayed in making her Embassy appointment.

Does anybody know if there is a time limit by which she (the beneficiary) must respond to the NOA2? If so, what is this time frame?

We cannot be apart for the full processing time, and I am looking into purchasing her flights now. There are 'flexi tickets' which I believe give me the option of changing her return flight, so if she needed to, she could return to Australia sooner than originally planned. The 'flexi ticket' however, is double the price!

04/06/2018 - 10 year GC in hand (With incorrect 'Resident Since' date - Filed SR online 'Typographical Error' with USCIS)

04/19/2018 - Email received from USCIS instructing me to return my GC for expedited correction - Mailed out today

You don't respond to the NOA2. You will receive an email from the Sydney Consulate to respond to by applying for the visa.

The expiration on the NOA2 is 4 months after approval, meaning that the visa must be approved within 4 months of the NOA2 approval, but this date can easily be extended by the consulate if needed.

So my case was approved on nov 12, 2013, but my case is not at nvc, so you think that my fiance can get her interview before march?? She is in Dominican Republic... thank you
