Hi. My wife and I got married recently, but since our jobs are in separate cities we do not live together in same household, but try to meet as often as possible. My wife is a US Citizen and myself H-1B visa holder. Is is OK for us to file my i-485, i-130 and i-864 documents before we actually find a Job a common place and start living together or is it better that we wait till we actually are living togther. Please guide. Thanks

I believe you guys can initiate the process without waiting to be staying together. You guys can always try to settle at the same place during the process.

However, you guys should be able to provide there is an ongoing relationship even if you guys are staying in different places.

Daily phone logs, chat logs, photos, travel tickets, event tickets you guys attended together etc will help for that cause.
