ATTENTION ATENCIÓN ATTENZIONE!!

Please Read This!!

If you haven't contacted your congressman yet - do so ASAP.

I don't know if you guys have seen this thread from a former USCIS adjudicator, but I saw it just now. He has some very interesting and helpful things to say. If you haven't seen it yet you should definitely read it. It'll probably help you.

One of the most interesting/helpful things I found - for those of us December filers who still haven't been approved - is what he had to say about Congressional inquiries. Namely that when you file a congressional inquiry, "those get pulled and worked right away (usually)." !

"i.e. Senator Numbnuts says "CIS - I understand from my constituent - Mr. Hotn'bothered that (according to him) you have been processing his application for his dear fiance in a less than timely manner. Can you please look into this matter and let my office know when it will be approved." System usually says - "pull and work file immediately" 'Nuff said."

So do it - if you haven't already. We all qualify since it has taken so much longer than promised.

He also gives some great insights into what goes on there and why things take so long. Reading this could help ease your mind a bit.

Ashleyphilly,

Yeah lol my 1st senator replied like 2-3 weeks after saying that USCIS has pulled our case for review. Then a week later. Put up a service request just to see what part of the process they are at. They replied that they had to perform additional review on my case and that's why they have had delays. But that my case is now currently under review. To wait a response within the 90 days.when I researched similar E-request responses, they said that I shouldn't worry about it since it's just a way to dissuade people not to contact USCIS or place other service requests.the 2nd senator didn't seem to interested because the 1st time my fiance sent them the consent form they didn't receive it due to someone came by to fix their faxing machine. We had to re-fax the document and still haven't heard anything from their office. Since Jonyork advice and persuaded us to contact our state congressman and others have had better results with theirs, I just had to give it a try! When my fiance called USCIS yesterday they told him that the good thing is that they've been looking through my case, as she can see it through the screen and because they performed additional review and that when they say within 90 days, it doesn't necesarily mean after 90 days. It means in between. It could be a week or 2 or a month. Hoping that we all hear something soon!

Hi friends,

We got approved today. When I just saw the email about an hour ago, I jumped and danced and laughed, my mom sitting next to me didn't know what was going on and said "Are you crazy?". I am still on the moon right now though ;). I don't know if my fiance knew it yet but he seems quite so I'm trying to reach him via email and on Skype.

I wish you guys who are still waiting will receive good news soon. Btw, I am beneficiary.

Love,
