hey mohammedand crystal, we are tired aswell. Just saw that yesterday they approved an april and a may filer! It's ridiculous they should do Sept. (if there's any) Nov. and dec filers right now!! We have today and next week or expect going 7 months. we turn 6 months on the 31st so just 11 days.

Just like Zach<3Katiuska said we are tired, but were almost there. yes that bothered me too about the april filer. I wish they had more control of what goes out. everyone should be on the same page at least. they all should work out on each months that all over the place. I am a day before Zach<3Katiuska. hanging on.

Awesome bunnygirl and Frontgear. Happy for you both. Congrats and good luck with your next steps. :dancing:

Thank you!

Hello December filers. I am beyond frustrated, stressed and very desperate. Me and my fiance have been patient and our 6 months will be on the 24 th. I'm beginning to wonder if the reason a lot of December filers are still having to wait is because we were not assigned a case worker. Did they just put our applications at the bottom? I come on this site everyday and see MANY couples that are desperately waiting and its so unfair that we are still waiting while others have been approved. I don't try to sound like a hater but I am bitter that we November, December and January filers are still waiting and being told to wait even longer. I think a portion or a percentage of our fee should be refunded due to the circumstances but I know that will never happen. CONGRATS to those that have been approved and I am praying for us who are still having to endure the pressure of the unknown, waiting, constant checking uscis, texts, VJ & e-mail. Sorry I just had to vent today. Hang in there guys all we have is FAITH AND HOPE. So ready to be with my love from Ghana.

I, too, was frustrated waiting for our NOA2. We got ours 2 days before we turned 6 months. I got even more frustrated than my fiancee, to the point that she told me, "Just forget about it. If we're meant to be with each other, it's only a matter of time before that happens!"

Hang in there, folks! One of these days when you look back at this thread, you'll realize that those 6 or even 7 months passed by quickly and you won't even remember it.

If you and your loved one are meant to be with each other, it's only a matter of time and no one can stop you!

Hey Guys- a bit confused- mine also went straight to post decision activity? Does that mean it's already sent to NVC? Do I have to wait the full two weeks before calling NVC? And whenI do call them - I'm just checking to see if they received it and get a file number? Anything else I need to get on that phone call generally?

You got it, I had the same thing happen June 10. They have sent the case to the nvc already. You will get a paper copy of the noa2 soon if you haven't already. Also, they are telling me there is a 25 business day wait from noa2 to them receiving and assigning case numbers. Its been 10 days for me and I've already called a few times. Each time they were sure to tell me I need to hold my horses, 4-5 weeks is now the norm... thats what they said anyway!

So i did as i was told by DRbound lol..i did the online E-REQUEST on the USCIS Website on June 18th (2 Days ago)

and just today they replied :

this is what it says:

The status of this service request is:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We had to perform an additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 90 days.

WOW 2 more months! Yuppieee for us ! :(:ranting:

Hey no blaming me! If it works you can blame me, not if it extends your wait! lol

But seriously, it stinks that that was your message from the SR, I didn't get my SR response until after my NOA2! Here is what mine said:

The status of this service request is:

"On 05/30/2014, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

On 06/10/2014, after you inquired about your I129F, your case was approved. We sent your Approval notice to you using the most recent address we have on file. The original notice should arrive within 30 days.

Please be aware the "A-number change" update that you inquired about is due to the beneficiary being assigned an A-number as part of our process.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

I hope you get your approval soon... 90 days?! Although possible i would not expect it to take that long. They are looking at your case now so i bet the NOA2 will come quick,

Do you see this on your USCIS status page? If you do, then it's on its way to the NVC.

On June XXX, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Mine also went straight to Post Decision Activity when I got the text/email about NOA2 approval. When I went to the USCIS website that night, it said:

On June 16, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR ALIEN FIANCE(E)....

Then last night, it changed to say that they shipped it to the DOS.

Lol not blaming you at all lol..instead because of you i get a Straight forward response from them.....i was getting soo happy about the senators response last week but i wanted something that actually comes from USCIS itself sent to me or my fiance. Thanks alot for your tip. it helped me a lot! 90 DAYS (3 months)...it's A LOT to handleee! I'm going to seriously stop using VISAJOURNEY and checking USCIS because it's not healthy at all.. Maybe the reason is..they're checking more about me since i was raised in the U.S since i was a little girl....i lived in USA for 15 years (of course i was underage).... this sucks!!!I wish you guys the best but i can't handle seeing approvals while i'm still under review.

I hear you I know how it is and I understand your guys' frustration!

I feel bad to be approved weeks before people like Jon York and others but at the same time quite relieved and happy to be through the noa2 stage. If I were you I would keep bugging them daily. There's no way it will hurt your approval to be persistent IMO. And like everyone else says, cliché but true, your time will come soon and you'll be looking at the december filers forum through a different lense.

CONGRATS!!!! I seriously coudln't sleep with my SR response so I started researching and re-reading it over and over again.this is what I understand now: They wrote there that they received my service request and they researched through my case which the found out that my case needed additional review by them( they wrote we HAD to do an additional review that's the reason why my case has been a bit delayed in processing time and finally, that currently my case is under review right now! Meaning I might get a response soon :S idk! That's what I read over other posts. Thanks a lot you guys and CONGRATS again!
