Why dont you check the usps or fedex notification that you sent your petition with? That should be the date they received your package.

We know the received date but my fiance didn't remember it : Dec. 27th! It even shows on the NOA1 Hardcopy! That's why it's ridiculous because if it shows on the hardcopy , it means they have it registered on the computer, Right? When my fiance spoke to her over the phone , she even mentioned the Alien Reg. # change ,without him telling her.. So that means she saw it reflected on the screen Hope to see some approvals tonight :D I hope one of us Dec. filers!

Btw: I am the beneficiary!

I tried doing it online but it doesn't work..it says something that we are still pending or whatnot...Well the lady said she would help but she needs that date...so Monday, he will ask to speak to her or with another sweet lady that answer and give them that information....Maybe they need that date because they have it all stacked upin boxes with the received dates..for example...The Dec. 3rd received packages in one place..Dec. 27th in another place..etc..idk maybe i try to see it as something positive...if they do help us..i will definetly tell you guys :) I just have to wait until Monday or next week to get an answer!

I got the same message online earlier this week. Still pending. It's not. Hopefully we hear from them in the next two weeks.

When I spoke to the Tier-2 officer today, he told me that they are working on Dec 3rd petitions and mine is 13th so it's getting there. I didn't tell him what mine was. He didn't ask. Apparently, he was looking at my petition on the screen.

So, yes, the Tier-2 lady should already know your date.

Hmmm, so we heard back from our Congressman today - basically a form letter saying that there's nothing they can do to intervene and that processing times are just estimates. Nothing everyone here hasn't heard a thousand times before. Bit disappointed they didn't actually look into our particular case to make sure TSC haven't lost our file etc but wasn't expecting much apart from that anyway :(

So the wait goes on - 5 months, 3 weeks, 1 day and counting...

You shouldn't allow a simple form letter stop you. You should call them - they have people that deal with this. If you explain it to them in a way that allows them to sympathize with you, it would give them that little push they need to to get something done. Also, you can try your Senators office as well

Oh I know, he's going to phone the congressman's office on Monday and file a request with the senator's office. We can file our service request in just over a week as well.

So my fiance called in today to USCIS and both ladies weren't there so this time, he spoke to a guy, and he was polite but the only thing he could do for us was put to put up a service request! Who here also put up a service request and how long would we hear something? The guy said wait 24 days and if we don't heart anything, we should call them again! :(

I called and placed a service request and was told wait 30 days. There seems to be no uniform responds, also when I rang they said they couldn't provide a date that they were currently working on, seems to be luck of the draw with who you speak too.

Does anyone know/remember approximately how long it took to receive their paper notification after the electronic one? Be it NOA1, NOA2 or RFE.

I know my case was updated on 5/22, and I had the electronic notification on 5/28, because of course, just like my first notification, it was right before a holiday, but I still haven't received anything in the mail. It just seems that it shouldn't take 11 business (USPS) days to go from Texas to NY...although they told me my docs were mailed on 5/23 (Friday,) I'm just going by the 28th to be on the safe side.

Does this seem a bit long to anyone else?

I don't know if India is a high fraud country. However, just called USCIS again today, about 1/2 hour ago to find out if they have moved forward from december 3rd apps. Nope, still December 3rd!I think they should send out a tweet for every time an adjudicator approves a petition - make this a little more transparent. I am imagining 2 guys sitting there with boxes and boxes of our files just piling up.
