I feel really stupid right now.... and depressed...

I called nvc i was waiting 30 mins on the line and at the finally when i talked with someone i didnt understand his accent... I started to feel pretty stupid that i couldn't understand what he was asking me...

I think i can only understand my fiance cause we talk 24/7 for years now and even if i say something wrong he knows exactly what i mean! But this doesnt work with other ppl. I think the guy could tell me to go f*** myself that i called him and i didnt his morning a nightmare... he was speaking like a guy from Texas.... :'( :'(

How exactly do people from Texas speak? The problem is, you were probably speaking to someone from another country as well. There are many working at the TSC. I was on the phone with them yesterday concerning another matter and spoke to 3 different people...all of which had foreign accents (Hispanic) and I had trouble understanding them as well. I am Texan and could not understand them so that is probably not the issue.

Perhaps the petitioner should try calling? He may have better luck understanding them and getting through....just a thought.

Ppl for Texas have an accent .... Thats what i mean... And not only from Texas.. But we as european we use Texas as an example cause of the westerns that actors have this weird accent. Thats what i meant.

The wait is becoming unbearable!!! It is so ridiculous that we can't even do anything about this wait !! How much longer do you think tsc will take?!

My 5-month mark was up this past Sunday so I called USCIS today and spoke to a rep. She was very nice on the phone, told me that she'd fill out the service request for my case, asked me for my zipcode, then came back and told me that the system kicked her back telling her that TSC is running behind. So basically she told me to call back in 30 days if I don't get an approval by then. So much for that.

I contacted both of my state senators but no one answered the phone. I filled out the Privacy Consent Forms on both senators' websites, printed them out, and ran to the post office to mail them out certified mail. On the way home, I just remembered that this coming Monday is a holiday so I didn't have to rush to get them mailed today.

These are some of the things I do to get by this horrendous wait! C'mon TSC, get off your @ss and start approving these pending cases!

I need a vacation! No cellphone? No computer or internet connection! Seriously having to look at IGORS LIST is ridiculous! April filers getting approved while we are waiting like dorks! This is unfair!!!

finally got fed up with getting the run-around from the mumbai consulate. they never did send the file, so that immigration could review it and get us approved, and it has been almost a month now since mumbai denied us wrongly, telling my fiance that we were already married (we are not! which is why we need the k-1) and for us to file for a cr-1 instead.... so i finally went to the offices of both of my senators and told them what was going on, asked them to help. it looks very good for us now, but we have had such a long and crazy wait! and still have to wait until the senators get the consulate to learn what the marriage law is, lol! pray for us please, we just want to get married and live a happy life together.... good luck everybody, hoping we all get our visas soon!
