Guys me and my fiance we are December fillers with a fee on junuary cause one dollar extra on the check. So we had to send it back fix it and resend it. They had a paper inside the package that was saying that we wont need to wait from the begining the package will go to the package that they do the background check or whatever. We got second noa1 on January 24 and msg that the alien registration number changed on the 28 i think.

We called few days ago and they told us that our papers are fine and we have to another rfe,

So im comfused. Where is my noa ?

Im a December or January filer?

Should i wait till May or June to call them back?

ok, let me see if i understood, you sent the process, but because the check had 1 dollar more, u got an RFE..need to sent the righ amout.

Your noa1 is the message you get, that they are saying they have ur case. This is your NOA1, i never got the noa1 by mail, only noa2 (appoval)

So you sent another package? and got another noa1??

if you got another RFE, for the second package, it will come by mail and you will figure out what happened.

If you sent another i129-f petition pack, i guess the second one is the one wich counts..i mean i guess ur a Jan filer.

When you called them wich SCR number you gave to them? first or second pack?

when you check the uscis website, did the message change or still the alien number message??

Uscis site says still initial review and that alien registration number changed. Nothing else.

i dont know, they are very veery disorganized, because i have seen Fev. filers getting NOA2 while some from december still waiting.

While i was waiting for my approval i was stalking Igors List, it helps you to have an idea of how fast they are moving

waiting for noa2 is not easy, but put in ur mind after this things will move pretty fast

one more day of waiting is one less day apart from ur loved one.

On this list it seems like they approve whatever their hand pick... :/ i guess they have soooo many files that their offices are a madness.

I'm waiting for noa2 but i also have on my mind that if we get it on June for example until my papers come to Greece will be end of July or begining of August. And Greeks get lazy on August! They go for vacation...we have a national celebration on august 15 that everything is closed and they get 20 days off from their jobs. The embassy wont set me an appointment soon... Only after august 25 that they ll come back from vacation time. my country sucks on those things ...
