62 Days since receiving NOA1 hard copy by mail. RFE received by USCIS on 26 February 2014 and still waiting for their reply.... my nerves are burning .....ahhhh, I thought California Center is super fast sad.png

Lol, that IS fast! And you've obviously got someone looking at your file as you received an RFE! I'm sure you'll be approved really soon :)

Welcome to the ####### shoot of your life ... where you're life is allowed to proceed in a seemingly random amount of time ... anywhere from a week to over 5 months if you're really unlucky. Given the EXTREMELY high standard deviation, we all have pictures in our mind of the chaotic and uncontrolled environment that the adjudicators work in that may account for the lack of regularity in adjudication. I've convinced myself that our file is being used as somebody's monitor stand and has jelly donut stains all over it.

Don't put too much faith in the way VJ calculates when your I-129F "may" be adjudicated on your profile. Pull the reporting tables down yourself and run the numbers. I put the average at about 90 days for TSC and 80 days for CSC.

Awwwww, this is does not look good. I will keep positive as they informed us right away of receiving our RFE and as I looked at the numbers and made my calculations, USCIS California reply usually to RFE in 14 days average. But this is not sure, as I have seen cases too, they had to wait 60 days after submitting RFE. I feel that no matter I do calculation, they are treating each case differently....I donnt know how they work and priorities applications..... I will keep praying. Wish you good luck too Smaring and I hope everything will go faster ... Thanks and good luck again :)

Our petition just got approved today :), we are so happy. What will happen next. I did not understand the process of the NVC and the packet you are talking about. I thought I have to wait until the US Embassy of Abu Dhabi to call me or send me an email to tell me what to do. What is the case number? Would you please explain little bit for me..I appreciate it

Thanks and good luck

As far as I know, the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) will send your Case to the NVC (National Visa Center) which will process your case and then forward it to the foreign Embassy. It took about 3 weeks for me to hear from the Swiss embassy. They will then provide you with further instructions. I guess you can start collecting some needed documents like

- Birth Certificate foreign fiance

- us sized passport pictures foreign fiance
- Police Record foreign fiance
- Evidence of Relationship
- I-134 USC
- Bank Statement USC
- Employer Statement USC
- Tax Statement USC
Congratulation!
