Ok, this may be a question that has already been asked, but I'm so confused about this whole NVC thing with the NVC tracking number. So, you'll have to excuse me here.

Yes, it would be nice to track something after you receive your NOA2. Mine specifically states that it may or may not be sent to the NVC or DOS. In other words, it's not very clear.

If we were to call the USCIS and ask them if our case has been sent to the NVC, DOS or to the Embassy directly will they give us that information?

I'd hate to keep calling the NVC being on hold for such a long time just to check to see if they have it and it ends up bypassing them all together and going directly to the Embassy. I'm assuming that's what is being mentioned in the above post(s), that it bypassed the NVC & DOS and went directly to the Embassy? If that's the case I'm not going to waste my time calling the NVC.

Any suggestions? I did call the NVC yesterday and the woman told me that they don't have record of my case yet and that it could take up to 8 weeks.

Thanks a bunch for all of your help everyone!

Well, ill try to help.

After u get ur NOA2 USCIS send all ur documentos to NVC, it would be helpful if we had a track number, but we dont.

They say CSC takes a little longer to send our documents to NVC. And yes, you can call USCIS to ask if they already sent, but i guess

they will always say they did ( they said this to me). NVC told me to wait untill 8 weeks, dont do this, keep calling them untill u have ur case number

i know, they are not very kind on the phone, but keep calling

Only those living in the typhoon affected areas ate auto expedited, not the whole Philippines. It's just that the service centers process a lot faster now. Whether you're from the Philippines or not

Yes I received my NOA2 two weeks ago. I went through CSC, didn't receive an email for my NOA2 though, I checked online and then received the hard copy. Then I called NVC to get the case # and they also told me it had been sent out on Monday.

Well, I finally called the NVC yesterday and they had just received my case yesterday from the CSC so, as of yesterday it wasn't assigned a "case number" yet. The girl that I spoke with was very friendly and she basically stated that they don't do too much with I-129F petitions when they come in other then enter them into the system and ship them out to the designated Embassy. I did ask her how will I know when it is shipped and she said as long as you signed up for email alerts they will email you to let you know when it is sent to the Embassy. If that's true, I have no clue, but I think tomorrow I'm going to call them again and see if a case number has been assigned yet or not just in case.

I hope everyone who hasn't received their NOA2 yet will get good news soon!

I got an email that my case was sent to nvc today. Check yours since we have similar timelines! :)TSC notifies when they sent out the case to nvc.

So my case was sent to nvc today, how long do I wait to ask for my case number? :)

the process is seem moving faster than last year. isnt it?

I called to the NVC for my case number, Unfortunately, they said they havent received it yet.

I havent received my NOA1 hard copy, too. We were a little worried if there was something wrong with our mailing address.

Called them and they said the address is correct, must have something to do with the post man or post office.

Has anyone here had the same situation? I just dont wanna loose my NOA2 hard copy. It would be bad. .

Thanks
