Got my NOA2 today! I'm positive everyone will get theirs this month. TSC seems to be moving fast now. Does anyone know how long it takes to get your case number from NVC?

congrats!!! I just checked the online case status, and i found our NOA2 was mailed feb.6 but we didn't get any emails or text..

I wonder if I need to call them or just continue to wait.

You should call them after 5days since you got NOA2 to get your case number ?

50 days ? Seriously ppl might get their interview then

If you look at his timeline it looks like it was the NOA1 he received, not the NOA2. Plenty of us December filers still waiting for this!!

This is all it says on the USCIS website (see below). I don't believe you can track when they actually mail it out to the NVC. I believe that's why everyone tends to wait a bit and then calls the NVC to get their new number to track their case once it's at the NVC, but I could be wrong since this is all new to me. smile.png

Post Decision Activity

On February 3, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the NationalVisaCenter or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I look at other cases and I've seen ones with this status. I guess this is the notification of your file being sent to NVC.

Post Decision Activity

On January 27, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

EAD Received with wrong b-day 12/4 Contacted on Dec 13th to send it back and they will determine the next step about reissuing it.

EAD fixed by going to an infopass appt. The woman was able to fix it in the system and said don't waste the $ on a new EAD.

Potential Interview Waiver Received 3/2/15

Green Card in hand 7/29/15!!!

Wow i think youre going to get yours pretty soon..You shoulddddd!!!U filed urs in November! I was going to do that aswell but the lawyer wanted to wait because my fiance came to Venezuela for Christmas and she wanted him to be in the U.S just in case!

My petition was shipped to the consulate on February 7th!

My NOA2 date was 1/22.

I didn't get a notification that it was shipped to NVC, nor did NVC respond to my email inquiries. I'm glad I started collecting all the paperwork and did the I-134 :)

I hope everyone else's K1s go as fast as mine!

April 27, 2016: I-751 mailed

May 2: I-751 received

May ??? NOA1

May 12: Check cashed

May 31: Biometrics appointment scheduled

June 1: Biometrics appointment letter arrives!

June 2: Biometrics walk-in

My petition was shipped to the consulate on February 7th!

they say CSC does not really notify when the case was already sent to NVC. That was quick! Time to schedule for the medical and interview. I hope I get mine in less than a month too!
