My case, waa reopened twice, my date of approval changed to Aug 14. I have no idea what they are doing. But at least its, approved for the 3rd time and has been shipped out to nvc on the 20th of august.

Whoa. I saw that you got approved on 7/24 and they have just now sent your case to NVC? It's been almost a month.

Checked ceac site says case creation 8/12/14 status update 8/20/14. Case is ready for interview. So what does this mean pls.

What was the updated date the last time you saw it?

For me, it was approved on 6/16, sent to NVC 6/19, and NVC received it 6/30.

It means the case is ready for interview!

They're ready for your fiance to start submitting documents and he'll probably get his packet 3 soon.

after 7.5 months our application was approved on July 28th, and we still didnt get any update since then,,,, it is going t be 1 months next week and USCIS still didnt send our petition to NVC,,,,, did you all guys received case update on package sent to NVC? why it takes so long forthem to send to to NVC?! we called to NVC and they did not receive our package yet

Its coming, look what happened to me SMH

First I recieved a reopen under review, text and email. i also recieved it in the mail

then at night back to back an approval then reopen. text and email. now I only got an approval notice in the mail, and that it was sent to NVC. and contact them for further information.

yesterday i got a text and email stating it was physically shipped aug. 21 to NVC.

Hey Guys.... WE ARE APPROVED APPROVE APPROVED- I posted my consulate review if you want more details!

I want to get sappy for a moment.. lol

We drove up to Montreal the night before our interview.. but with all the stuff we had to do during the day and my crappy out dated gps.. we didn't get there until about 11:00pm-11:30pm.. I was EXHAUSTED.. from the stress... from the drive.. fromw orking all day etc.. I was CRANKY.. lol Nathan wanted to grab some food/ see Montreal a bit. All I wanted to do was sleep lol. But I got changed and we walked down the street to try and find him some food.. We got turned away by about 6-7 places.. turns out everywhere closed at 11... With every person that turned us away... I got crankier and crankier.. I was so tired.. my feet hurt from my shoes...not my best moment. We were walking down to try one last place.. and Nathan looked at me..in my eyes.. in all my crankiness and said "Hey.... we are here together." And it was like he just reached out and smacked the cranky right off my heart... He was right. It is so important to enjoy the experience. He is by far the most amazing man I have ever met.. and my person.

Now that we are approved.. I find myself sitting at work.. thinking about my husband to be.. and my heart starts to beat a little faster.. and my eyes just fill with the happiest of tears,, I feel so unbelievably blessed.

The wait was hell.. but so worth it. I can't wait to start our next chapt... Best of luck everyone. Sorry for the cheese.

I am so happy for you, In a world and because not sure of anyone else but of experiences i have gone through, Its so good to know that yes real love is possible, its alive. good men and woman do exist.
