Hello to all December filers,

We have finally made it! My fiance' had his interview today in Ghana and we were APPROVED! After 5 years of becoming best friends and falling in love and all of the hard work, tears and sacrifice we have FINALLY made it and will be together. THANK YOU GOD! (L):)

24 DEC. 2013: Package delivered to Dallas Lockbox
30 DEC. 2013: Received text & email of NOA1
31 DEC. 2013: Alien Registration Number assigned

20 JUNE 2014: Received text & email of NOA2 (171 days from NOA1)
26 JUNE 2014: Received NOA2 hardcopy

27 JUNE 2014: En route to NVC
04 JULY 2014: NVC received

11 JULY 2014: Case # received via phone call

09 JULY 2014: US Consulate - Ghana received case

19 JULY 2014: Received hard copy letter from NVC of case sent to US Consulate - Ghana

30 JULY 2014: Fiance' received packet 3 from Ghana Embassy

04 AUGUST 2014: Completed Medical Exam

18 August 2014: Interview for Visa and APPROVED!!!!

20 August 2014: Will go back to Embassy to pick up Visa :dancing:

Thanks everyone I am overjoyed right now. Congrats's to those that have FINALLY gotten their NOA2's! It is just a matter of time before you all will be approved too. What a journey this has been and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with my hubby. Hang in there guys this too shall pass.....

Yes. You may also need a bank statement from your bank.

Well I received 3 text messages with a review, then approval and then a reopen notice. I received in the mail the review notice then the approval that it is in nvc. I do not know if it now will be delayed because of a reopen. Going to have to wait and see.

I'm tired of calling uscis. Never get a right answer. First I was told it went to nvc. It didn't . Then i was told it was being repackaged. Now I got a re approved letter stating it has now been sent to the nvc and contact them for further info.but still received same day a reopened notice.

Hi all, I was notified on august 11th that my petition was shipped to the NVC. I'm a little confused as to what happens next. Do I contact them myself in a week and ask for a case number or will they contact us? How do we find out the case number to track it.

K1 Visa timeline: 12/27/2013 Filed paperwork

12/29/2013 - received at Dallas lockbox

1/2/2014 - Got NOA1 email with case number

1/7/2014 - Received hard copy of NOA1

1/9/2014 - Alien registration number changed

8/1/2014 - NOA2 email

8/11/14 - Petition shipped to NVC

8/22/14 - NVC sent petition to Dublin.
