I hope I hear from them soon. It's also a congressional inquiry now so I hope they do to leave it on the shelf too long.i should know something by next week that's all they, asked for. The letter of intent. I Sent them more pics (of his family and me, me and him and of our rings) and my travel tickets. What more could they want. Initial packet sent out nov. 2013. It's almost a year

Just a quick update from me. We had our medicals in London last week and te doctor wanted a letter from my GP regarding a fairly rare eye condition I have. I e-mailed that over to them last night and they confirmed receipt this morning.

So, heopfully, that means my medical results can now be forwarded to the Consulate and I should have an interview date soon.

Fingers crossed to everyone still waiting, you're all so close now and this WILL happen for you. Keep smiling :)

Perfectly normal. Mine took 6 days to get from NVC to London. I'm sure yours will get there soon.

US Passport and Visa Database crashed. Expect delays due to backlog that caused the crash. 50,000 applicants in one country alone were affected.

Those waiting at NVC may have issues - not sure. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.
