Congratulations!

We all are a little closer to the end.

Since it has been long time we have decided to take the risk - I booked a ticked and packed few things. I had a longer interview at the POE (JFK) but my B2 visa (multi entry, 5 years) from last year (I stayed in the US over 90) was stamped allowing the entry.

We hope to get the NOA2 while we are together. I would also like to bring all I-134 papers with me o he does not have to mail them.

Let's get some more December filers approved!

Thanks!

hi! It's almost 4 months since I filed my petition.. My fiancé is from Pakistan. I see that a ton of people are getting approved, congrats!! I'm wondering if you think that the longer it's taking, the more chance that they might send a RFE? Or is Texas service center just slow for some cases? Thanks in advance! Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Mine took 127 days which is a little over 4 months and I didn't get an RFE. I believe someone said TSC is backlogged.

If it works anything like ours, maybe you'll get your NOA2 as soon as you're together! It was the strangest thing...we had waited 6 months, 1 week and then, the very morning I arrived in Qatar to visit my fiancé, we received that elusive NOA2 email/text :dancing: Sign from the universe??

Hoping the same thing happens for you, fingers crossed!!

I was contacted by my congressman's office with an Update on my case (eventhough I already have my NOA2).

She said my petition was approved on 4-8-14 and sent to the NVC on 4-14-14. Which I found interesting as the update that I received from USCIS says my petition was approved on 4-14-14. Do you think the petitions are approved days before we get notification? I'm going to try calling the NVC tonight to see if I can get an update on my case.

@ConorBradley89- I'm using phone and it has being playing games on me. Lol

We got NOA1 on Dec. 10th. Its good though because my expectation was RFE would be issued on 5months mark but on 4 months, its a good thing.
