I think it's worth a shot. I know a few others contacted their congressman around the 3 month mark and got NOA2 a few days after their representative took action.

Hi everyone, I have a question about the I 134 form. This is for the k1 visa. For the past two years I have worked abroad and have filed my taxes and in each case I have met or exceeded the limit for a two person household based on the poverty line listed by USCIS. Overall, I have three years of tax returns, including a year in the us, where I have met the guidelines; additionally I have accumulated between twenty five and thirty thousand dollars in savings. Will this be enough with no co sponsor or will I require one? Thanks everyone for the help!

Its indeed a visa journey. Logo of this site has said it all. Journey filled with emotional ups and downs, loneliness, where overtaking is lawfully allowed, last can become first. It is not when you file but when you got approved, that matters.

Today, we have December filers that have their visas in hands, some are on interview stage, some just got approved, some are waiting for approval while some are waiting for RFE.

I've not seen my fiancee in the last one year one, and our first child will be 5months on 11th. I don't have opportunity to touch him, bless him and raise him up and show him whole world. My fiancee is out of work for the past 6 months to take of our son. Its not easy at all for us but I know as going gets tough, tough gets going. Hopefully, I'll be there for my son one year birthday in November.

I really appreciate kindness of December filers community, though I don't post but I visit this thread more than USCIS page.

Everyday is a PLUS, WE ARE GETTING CLOSER EVERYDAY

I wanna cry with ur post! Having a baby and u are far away from ur man... :( that sucks.... I wish i could give u my position and make ur papers faster .... With all my heart!!

Well I found out you can contact your congressman even if you haven't passed the 5 month timeframe. I contacted mine today and I'm just almost at the 4 month mark and they were very nice and seemed to know a lot about the petition process. I was contacted less than 30 minutes after I sent in the privacy release form and was told they would follow up on my case and update me as soon as they can.

They may not be able to speed up the case, but at least they can let me know what stage my petition is, and an approximate timeframe as to when I can expect my NOA2

Should i say to my fiance to do that??? :( we are December filers. :( guys i know everyone ipis on the same position everyone we are in pain but this process is soooooo annoying i wanna see my fiance finally. I got my wedding dress on July and since then i got 11 kg. till the wedding i ll be fat as a cow

Hi guys, I'm hoping this month is my month for the NOA2. At the end of this month it would 4 months. I'm so hoping. It's hard because I just saw him in the beginning of Feb. I want to go down and see him again, money is tight and If I had a clue about the approval and interview I can plan before or wait and go for interview time.

I just said that I filed a petition for my fiance, and it's been almost 4 months and I've called USCIS several times and haven't been given much information. She pretty much took it from there and asked if I filed the I129f and then said she understood and would need me to fill out a privacy release form.

It depends on you. I did it because I just wanted to know what is going on with my petition and if it's even been touched since USCIS won't give me any information.

No problem at all...the release form asked for all details such as my name, dob, ssn address. Then asked for my fiances details, then asks details such as type of petition filed, date, case, receipt or A registration number. The second page asks for a brief description of my issue. It was pretty easy and straightforward.

However, I'm not sure if the release forms are all the same, or if they vary from state to state.
