When my wife comes here to the U.S. I have an appointment already set up for her to see a local Civil Surgeon for the I-485 Green card processing. He is to verify her immunization records that we get back sealed to send with the other documents for the I-485

My question is: she had her complete medical in Tokyo for her Visa interview at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo.

Now when she goes to the doctor here (Civil Surgeon) I know she does not have to have a medical exam for the I-485 process, because her medical exam for the interview for the Visa was done in late September. I know if the medical exam is less than a year old she does not have to re do it. I was told she has to take her immunization records to the doctor with her for him to verify the information and to complete the form. Does she also have to take her results from her medical exam to have it verified also?? I was told seeing her medical exam is only a few months old, she only needs to get her shot records verified. but, i want to be safe. Should she take her medical exam results with her also??

Thank you for your assistance

If she has a copy of her medical results as well as her DS-3025 for her vaccinations, then sure, take both. Most people never even see the rest of their medical documents beyond receiving a copy of their DS-3025. Some do not even receive a copy of the DS-3025.
