If you want to speak with someone about your case status, you need to ask to speak to a tier 2 immigration officer. The people that answer the phone do not have access to your case info and they are typically mis-informative and useless.

Why do you need to call them? Have you not received any info about them receiving your RFE response? Those that are being processed without an interview are taking longer to be approved. You could be waiting 10+ months. Check out the threads on this topic in the AOS Progress Reports sub-forum.

the human you spoke with filed a service request, and gave you the receipt #.

When you filed for the green card, did you file also the EAD and AP forms? If no, I suggest you file both todayish, include a copy of the receipt notice that you received.

Otherwise, you might be suffering from 'returned postal mail' and need to talk with an ISO to suss this .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Big deal, I am waiting since February.

You got the request service number, it means nothing, next time when you call for an inquiry you can give them the number to look it up, it is a bit like the numbers you get from NOA1s.

[*] 15 May 2013 - Moved from MN to LA; [*] 17 May 2013 - Applied for a new SS card/filed an AR-11 online (unsuccessfully), therefore called and spoke to a Tier 2 and changed the address; [*] 22 May 2013 - Address updated on My Case Status (finally can see the case numbers online); [*] 28 May 2013 - Letter received in the mail confirming the change of address; [*] 31 July 2013 - Went to Romania; [*] 12 September 2013 - returned to the US using the AP, POE Houston, everything went smoothly; [*] 20 September 2013 - Spoke to a Tier2 and put in a service request; [*] 23 September 2013 - Got "Possible Interview Waiver" letter (originally sent on August, 29th to my old address, returned and re-routed to my current address); [*] 1 October 2013 - Started a new job.

Yes, as Darnell told you, it is a service request receipt. A service request basically amounts to you asking where is your green card, and them giving you a receipt number and telling you that you will hear something within 60 days. They do not actually have to respond within that time though.
