Hi, My mom peitioned my sister under F2A category. Her PD is 08/22/13 and NOA2: 11/15/2013. She called NVC yesterday and was told that case has been rec'd but case number not generated yet. My mom as the petitioner is currently unemployed. But my Dad is. He works as a temporary employee in full time basis, earns around $1000 monthly. Not sure though if my dad's income will comply to the poverty guidelines. Also, My parents has been in the US for only 4 months, and when I filed a petition for them, my husband was my co sponsor. I wanna know if it's possible if my husband will co sponsor my sister this time? I will greatly appreciate your inputs. thank you! :-)

hi,

your dad doesn't qualify because he doesn't make enough.

your husband can be a joint sponsor if he makes enough to cover himself, his family, your mom and now your sister.
