Timeline

I'm assuming that you filed RoC when your RoC window opened up. I suppose you now have about 3 months to apply for naturalization on the basis of have completed 3 years with your original GC and with the Extension Letter (RoC NOA). If you weren't thinking of N400, may now you should :/

Hoping that you still get approved very soon though.

You have not been forgotten. I thought to check up on you and find out what is going on? Anything new on your case? Have u filed any new service request? Have u concluded to just wait till December and file for your Citizenship?

So, I contacted USCIS yesterday and spoke to an immigration officer lady. After I gave her all the details, she put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then came back and let me know that the security check is still pending. She also told that technically they have till December to adjudicate my application. :(

The only thing that I can do right now is to contact the senator. But I doubt whether that will be of any help, specially when the USICS is saying that the security check is pending. Guys, do you think that the security check could be expedited by contacting the senator?

Below are my detailed timeline for I751.




NOA1: December 2013 in Vermont



Bio Metrics: January 29, 2014



Transferred to CSC: March 14, 2014



Approval online: May 9, 2014



Another update online with tracking number: ~May 15, 2014



Card Received: May 17, 2014 [This was USPS Priority Mail most probably 2 days service]
