I just found out that the DMV here in Mississippi don't accept the I-551 and instead they asked me to bring the I-94. I don't get it.

I also had started discussion about this at this location - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/501336-i751-noa-not-accepted-at-dmv/?p=7091178.

I have not had anyone experienced what you are going through. This is really serious. i bet you will need another infopass but this time, with all the details that the DMV is requesting, make sure that the USCIS is aware of those. You might want to ask them to write a letter to the DMV validating your I-551. Additionally, maybe ask them to call the DMV. This is just too strange. Didnt encounter any problem at the DMV in Maryland or NC

Strange how things work at USCIS. You called in, you are told they are working on December 2 cases but when you take a peak at January Filers, they have approved cases already. How about just get done with December first? This thing is excrutiating painful but i bet we just have to wait. It sucks though..

Hi friends,

I have been waiting for our 10-yr green card like everyone else, however, we got a RFE on 06/17/14 and we hurried up and responded on the 21st with 4 lbs of more documents, mind you - some of the documents we already have sent. Had no idea we might get a RFE but oh well! I thought we sent everything but I guess not.

Now it's time for the horrifying wait again

This just gets frsutrating by the minute. They wait after 6 months to send u a RFE? That is really sad. People who applied at the end of January are getting approved while those of us who applied at the beginning of December still wait in the darkness. Worse of all, you get surprised by an RFE? I just so disappointed in the entire process especially leaving december cases and doing january cases. What is the rationale? It just doesnt add up.. Will keep calling them till someone has something tangible to tell me besides the December 2 Cases gibberish.

Hey I am sorry that you are in the same boat as I am. Here are things that they ask for:

1. Children Result in your marriage - we have none but I sent some bills for all the fertility treatments that we are going through.

2. Evidence that you and your spouse live together - We have sent them a copy of the deed of our house but they had a question about a schdule that had no address on it, so we gathered more documents that refers to that schedule or map.

3. Evidence that you and your spouse have combined financial, joint checking and savings showing withdrawals and deposits for the period that you are married - we re-sent our bank statements and highlighted the withdrawals like car payment, mortgage,utility payment, credit card payment etc .

4. Insurance policies that shows beneficiary - we took screen print of our ADP from work to show that we are listed as each other's life insurance beneficiary and a copy of the enrollments forms from work.

5. Joint Federal Tax Returns - Mind you, we already have sent this, but we still re-sent 2012 & 2013 IRS Tax Transcripts.

6.Joint installment, other loans, or credit card statements - Again, we send our car title before, so we sent screen print from Toyota financial services that shows both of us (our names) as owners, and a credit card statement for last 12 months. Also, picture of the credit card that shows same cc number.

7. Evidence that you and your spouse have joint estate - we have none.

8. Any other relevant documents - we never send picture before but this time we send 30 photos from various occasions/vacations, vacations, copies of airfare tickets through Orbitz, our vacations, expenses highlighted in the CC statement.

9. Affidavit from third parties - we sent 2 before but this time we included 2 more. All were notarized and those people who wrote the affidavits are in our picture album, I also made sure to point that out with sticky notes.

All of those documents weighed about at least 4lbs but you know what I don't care. They are bunch of idiots like I said before. Just anxious to know what's next.
