Congratulations Thunder_Bold :dancing:

As an update, I received my card today:

The USPS reported that your new card was delivered on May 20, 2014, directly to the address we had on file.

So within a week from approval, pretty fast I would say. Interestingly it took exactly five months for ROC. I had filed the petition on 12/20/2013 and got the card on 05/20/2014. The only question now is whether to carry the card with me all the time as the accompanying letter says or carry just a copy. Would like to hear other members views on this.

Thanks for all you support during this stressful phase and wishing all the best to folks still awaiting approval.

I kept my 2 year green card on my person 90% of the time, but I know that many others kept a copy of it and placed the actual card in a safe place. I may do that with the 10 year card, or just hold on for another year. Once I have citizenship it will not matter so much :D.

Congrats to those already approved. I have been so busy, was out of touch for a while. Thunder_bold, bigapple2014 and I are right behind you. Seems we are the only two transfers left from VSC to CSC...Will update you all once I receive some amazing news!!!! Happy memorial weekend to yall

Yes! only we two are still pending from the list of December filers who are transferred from VSC to CSC, hope we will also get the good news in one or two weeks.

Hello guys

Im sure you guys also "biggapple2014 and Jonesfamily" almost there only you need to be patient and calm.

By the way, I want to share a few things about my case.

Firts i had addres change process right before my case transferred, though they didnt ask anything about it, like rfe etc.. So who has same process, no worries about it.

Second thing i never got text message from uscis although i have account on uscis web page, and both option (text message & email) was click on. I didnt get any text message either;

When i change my adress online

When my case was transffered

When i got Card Production Order email.

I all got email for each step. So which was weird.

Another thing i know it looks weird to ask this quession but when i got "Card Production Ordered" e mail. I checked online case status. You know guys there is a 4 blue circular and usually one of one shows your case status which one of blue light on.

But when i checked online there is no one of blue light on. All circular looks dull but right under the bottom says "On May 20 We ordered your new card..."

So can someone tell me anything about it or im just making myself crazy!?! :)

Just because i thought when you got approved & Card production order, after that you need to see circular of Post Decision Activity with blue light on it.

Hi All

I just got this text:

'On May 22, 2014, we ordered production of your new card....'

This follows weeks of protracted conversations with USCIS since I received my approval notice on the 9th of April (dated 4th April) but still didn't have my card; and whenever I entered my receipt number online, the system said 'case can not be found.'

To cut a long story short, there was a glitch in their system and I had to wait while they carried out an internal investigation.

Hopefully, this is the end of it. I'll update the table once I receive my card.
