Biometric appointment--- 01/28/2014 (got it done earlier on 01/17/2014)

I was following up this post. It was really helpful. Got approved on May 9.

Below are my detailed timeline for I751.

NOA1: December 2013 in Vermont

Bio Metrics: January 29, 2014

Transferred to CSC: March 14, 2014

Approval online: May 9, 2014

Another update online with tracking number: ~May 15, 2014

Card Received: May 17, 2014 [This was USPS Priority Mail most probably 2 days service]

Thanks Kristal. I guess the officers have loads and loads of applications to approve them. In my case still today in USCIS website shows "INITIAL REVIEW" but i think the VSC is now start to kick on all those December fillers. :) Good Luck !!

Hi everyone! So, I am getting a bit antsy because I have moved over a month ago and I'm concern if I did the right thing with regard to updating my address with USCIS. Here's the information I came across: http://www.uscis.gov/addresschange

I went with the step in the second box and didn't do steps 1 and 2 since the last paragraph states: "Use our convenient Online Change of Address system to complete steps 1 and 2 at the same time. Once you complete Form AR-11 online - the system will also provide you the opportunity to change your address on any pending or recently approved applications. If you use our Online Change of Address to complete Form AR-11, you do NOT need to file a paper Form AR-11."

Basically, I did the Online Change of Address. I have a confirmation number for making the change. But I was just wondering if I did the right thing. This meticulous process makes me second guess myself.

Hello everyone.

I just got email from Uscis it says :

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On May 20, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So goodluck to all who are still waiting aproval notice.

As an update, I received my card today:

The USPS reported that your new card was delivered on May 20, 2014, directly to the address we had on file.

So within a week from approval, pretty fast I would say. Interestingly it took exactly five months for ROC. I had filed the petition on 12/20/2013 and got the card on 05/20/2014. The only question now is whether to carry the card with me all the time as the accompanying letter says or carry just a copy. Would like to hear other members views on this.

Thanks for all you support during this stressful phase and wishing all the best to folks still awaiting approval.
