Just out of interest - who's going to apply for citizenship at their earliest window? Or is everyone done with USCIS once they have got their ROC approvals. I want to apply for citizenship when my window opens up in November - but at the same time I feel exhausted after 3 1/2 years of it!!! I need a beach vacation away from immigration for a while!!

Naturalization Journey (Based on 5 years as a PR):

November 21st 2016 - Sent N-400 to Dallas Lockbox.

November 30th - Check Cashed.

December 1st - Email/Text Notifications.

December 8th - Hardcopy of NOA received (Priority Date 11/25).

December 9th - Biometrics Appointment Letter received.

December 19th - Biometrics Appointment.

January 4th 2017 - "In Line" for Interview.

June 9th - Online status changed to "Interview was Scheduled".

June 12th - Interview Letter received.

July 19th - Interview (NYC). Requested a "delayed Oath" for after September 4th 2017.

September 11th - Oath Letter received. Honored my request for a delayed Oath Ceremony. 

September 14th - Oath Ceremony.

Hey Evoria, great news man. Many Congratulations :dancing:

Seems it's finally moving for VSC transfers. Can you please clarify your NOA1 date? Your filing date is 12/12 but NOA1 date is 12/31. Why such a gap? Just trying to figure out if it's going as per filing date or NOA1 date.

EV11, I was going to ask my husband if he wanted to file for his citizenship now, but I am like you exhausted with the idea of dealing with USCIS. I have a feeling the cost to apply will be rising, so it seems financially, to make sense to do it now.

Congrats !!!

Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you" I'm still in shock as I literally just went on the USCIS website obsessively looking as usual. I hadn't prepared myself at all. I'm so elated right now :D Good luck to all my December Filers!!!
