Is that the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? If so, you may want to join Jan 2014 filers thread?

the receipt date is 31/12. The very last day of December.

7 Jan is the date the letter arrived in my mailbox

Mine sent the same day, NOA date was 12/23/2013. I haven't heard anything either.

Hi Maria TH...thank you for your response! I was definitely getting a bit worried for a second. My bio appointment letter actually arrived today. It's scheduled for 01/27/2014...would someone be able to add this to the log? I hope you've heard news Maria TH and all those still waiting....

Naturalization Journey (Based on 5 years as a PR):

November 21st 2016 - Sent N-400 to Dallas Lockbox.

November 30th - Check Cashed.

December 1st - Email/Text Notifications.

December 8th - Hardcopy of NOA received (Priority Date 11/25).

December 9th - Biometrics Appointment Letter received.

December 19th - Biometrics Appointment.

January 4th 2017 - "In Line" for Interview.

June 9th - Online status changed to "Interview was Scheduled".

June 12th - Interview Letter received.

July 19th - Interview (NYC). Requested a "delayed Oath" for after September 4th 2017.

September 11th - Oath Letter received. Honored my request for a delayed Oath Ceremony. 

September 14th - Oath Ceremony.

I am sorry I could not figure out the instructions to add to the timeline information here.

We filed in Vermont, on 12/12/13, NOA1: 12/31/13 and bio Appointment on 1/29/14.

We seem to be on the fast track, is this pretty normal length of time? I guess I am confused after waiting what seemed like an eternity to get the I130 approved.

guys, my case status still have NOA date as the last updated date. Is it normal ? My bio metrics was 01/06/2014 and I did it early in 12/16/2013.

Just wanted to check how was your early biometric experience. Was that a walk-in or you got it rescheduled? My biometric date is 01/28 but I am trying to get it done earlier too.

Hi Pat,

I was not able to find anything that says the Boston office accepts walk-ins for biometrics. On the USCIS website it's listed as appointment only except for military personnel. My wife's biometrics is tomorrow at the Boston office. I will ask them if they take walk ins and let you know.

Here's the link with the info.

Filing Services OFFICE HOURS:

This office provides services to the general public by appointment from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.

Hi Pat,

It was a walk-in. Just go there and tell the desk officer about your intention to do a early bio as you couldn't make it that day. Most cases they wouldn't even look twice. In my case, I had to wait for 25/30 minutes for others to finish and I did as the last person which make sense.
